Any sort of pseudo-helpful suggestion by a known scammer is irksome to me, that's where it's coming from.  QS' s escrow scam and subsequent lies and casuistry are not fallacious.   That really happened.  As to whether he has the right to call knightkon out, yrs he does.  But QS really needs to clean his own house first because he really did rip people off.

No offense taken, and I'm going to shut up now.

sorry for off topic, but I looked to you post history(even more I am "sitting" every day in lending section)
and i am curious from where such stats, I not found reference or evidence. All what I found in you closed lending topic, less than 1BTC as is shown by and the repayment address also.

Uh huh, yea, what does an escrow scam have anything to do with asking people to lock their threads? Also knightkon, there is a block button; it's right under the pm/check profile icons.

He can make 20 posts if he wants or he can make 200 posts if he wants but that doesn't change the fact that the referenced posts are unnecessary and spam. He seems to have a history of making several posts in a short burst followed by no posts for several weeks, this could indicate that he has several accounts and is trying to make the minimum number of posts for the campaign that each account is in (this in itself is no big deal provided that his posts contribute to the conversation, but they do not), or it could mean that he has one account that participates in a signature campaign and does not want to get removed from said campaign for inactivity (again no big deal as long as he doesn't post random crap, but again not the case). 

Are you talking about this guy? Or are you talking about how signature spammers are often telling people to accept escrow in random marketplace threads?

The overall point is that he is fairly clearly pulling up several threads in the same sub at once and posting almost the exact same thing in each thread very quickly. I think it is obvious that he is posting for his post count and is not contributing to any of the threads.

Some of the threads he posted in likely were locked by a moderator as they have served this purpose. Some threads attracted additional unnecessary posts from others sometimes saying to stop bumping so many threads some saying nearly similar unnecessary things (e.g. Paid posts that add nothing to the thread).

Mmm.  QS, you really ought to shut the fuck up after disgracing yourself with your escrow scam.  Posting that people should lock threads is trivial compared to your transgressions, and if this forum had any balls whatsoever, you would be booted out of it.

Then do it over PM. Spamming 'OP - Please lock this thread' over and over again just to get paid from your signature doesn't help anything.

I'll take your word for it. I can see the way that you are thinking, however such requests are best done through PM or with some other structure to the post. Whether you like it or not, this is spam currently.

That shows you that these practices are not encouraged. People claiming to have the community's interest at heart while actually spamming for their signature campaigns get banned.

Also QS check his post history he hardly makes 20 posts in a week and you calling him a spammer ?

I remember some users keep yelling use escrow .. so these are practices and actually should be encouraged.

How I run my business is none of yours and if I wish to request people locking their posts, then I will.  I was a lender on here for a bit and I still do loans, only a select few.  I own 3 pawn shops and this is all my shops do is give loans and such.  As far as my ability to fund, I am sure I could buy and sell your ass.  Sorry if my posting recently has not been to your standards, but you are no one special buddy.  If you go through all my posts and not just part of them, you will see when I was very active in the lending, I was making these posts all of the time.  I also post feedback when i feel necessary and such.  Sorry I have not been active for a bit, I was closing on a commercial property and have not had the time to get on. 

I am sure you know and just do not care; however, i found when you make such a post on the old posts, you will not have new lenders coming in and making new loan request comments because you will see the last post being that asking for the thread to be locked.  I hope I have explained myself to you, like I need to; however, you have a great day.

User knightkon has made at least 10 posts that say something along the lines of "lock this thread" with a couple of extra sentences added to each post to make it appear at first glance (if only looking at one post) that he is participating in the thread conversation.

There are at least an additional three posts in the lending section made recently by knightkon that say something along the lines of "if some condition is met, then PM and I might be able to help", however based on the high volume of posts in the lending section, and the magnitude of the changes from the original proposed terms of each loan, I find it unlikely that he has both the means and intention of filling these loans.

In 8 of knightkon's recent above described posts, the prior post was made at least two days ago, with many being made 4+ days ago, making the "lock this thread" statement both unnecessary and ironic.
