You were copying content. You won't be unbanned.

Oh the vagaries of the mods pretence, as 3 out of 4 reported copy/pasters here go unpunished.. in fact ignored.
While I report elsewhere about hundreds of spamming farmed accounts, ignored again by all staff and Mods and theymos, hilarious finds time to go pick on another little guy.

Here's another little guy for you.

it allows. and the sale of accounts between the two sides. between sellers and buyers. not on behalf of this forum !!!

next page, same thread.

I don't want Kahir banned. That was never the point.
I'm just highlighting the "flexability" of application on a "hard" rule. (hard rule according to some mods, see above post)
.
Is it just me?

Lauda, hilariousandco, AND Cyrus

I've banned both of them, the forum has 0 tolerance for this practice. Thanks!

But apparently it does. 2 out of 3 copy/pasters still posting.

Hide_ip112  -  Loves to quote and agree, adding pointless information. And copy/paste.

Without a doubt, forcing someone to use bitcoin or putting them in a position where it can be seen as neutral or maybe even negative isn't always the best. I think people should willing want to use bitcoin and that includes women. Bitcoin is still relatively generally unknown to a majority of people, not many people are aware of things like this possibly exist.

dunfida - Posts are within a few minutes of each other, clearly spam. Because this account is part of a massive farming operation.
(should be on bbc reporters list. I am assured they are all banned)

dunfida - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/dunfida-661329 should be on bbc reporters list. A farmed account of the same period/ilk.
Compare danfoda - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/danfoda-661356 Very similar name? registered 15 min later.

dunfida first posted,  Nov 22, Dec 3,12,24, Jan 6,19, Feb 1,14,27, Mar 14, 27, Apr 4,12,27, May 11,24, June 7, 21, July 5 (1 post per date)

Only 1 date was different - Dec 23/24, as these accounts ranks were farmed up.

I'll check some others on your list another time.

Update,

I don't want Kahir banned. That was never the point. (and he is not banned, so he need not be afa i'm concerned)
I'm just highlighting the "flexability" of application on a "hard" rule. (hard rule according to some mods, see above post)

I stand by saying twa is a spammer. (his posts are more worthless than his c/p offence)
CryingMidget did appear to have rather a lot of c/p?

BCtalk has bigger problems than Kahir.
Is it just me?

There is quite a lot wrong here!

This thread is going to need some interaction with mods, to confirm actions taken. ie permaban, tempban, no action.
Action taken needs to be displayed. How else can this thread bring closure.
Are some of these accused already banned, some not?
With mod input it is possible people could learn more about this subject?

The different "classes" of accused need separating into different subsections for clarity.
Reports such as copy/paste are clear cut and need no further investigation, and as far as I can tell leads to a permaban.
Whereas, reports such as "He's annoying" are not so clear cut.

(my reported copy/paste are pure, simple "undeclared" copy/paste. where as the anonymous reported catch.me.if.you.can copy/paste is not undeclared. it has a link to origin. unless link was since added? or i am not finding a particular post?)

Copy paste seems a permaban offence?

As far as i know you only found 2 copy paste that i did. It must be a 7 day ban only and not permaban.
And i think that i learned from my mistake. I will not do it again.

One is all you need. One copied post = one permaban. Besides, most of your posts are trash and there's probably more copy and pastes but I just don't have the time or care to find any more.

Edit. Also.
Copy-pasting content results in a permanent ban.

So I await the outcomes of my copy/paste reports. seems black and white to me. The only way I can tell though is to wait and see if they ever post again.
2 of 3 copy/paste reported by me have posted again.
1 has deleted his copy/paste post, and after making his excuses, locked the thread I reported in.

The other report I made on jonnyjash, 14 posts of total trash. (is listed as "post in bursts"? and does not link to my post?)
Those 14 posts have been deleted. By himself? By mod? Who knows.?
He did not post for 1 week, but is now active again.

Did he have a week ban? Posts deleted by mod? 2nd chance? Fair enough.
But not one of his total posts is anything more than the finest spam. Show me one post of his even remotely informative/intelligent/whatever.
And in the last days of his "ban return", nothing has changed. All 1 line shitposts.

I know jonnynash is my "he's annoying" report, but if this poster is not of a low enough quality for mods to want to act against, then bitcointalk may as well admit they DO allow anyone to shitpost pure spam and be done with it. imo.

The idea's been floating around for a while now, and now's the time to enact it. I think we all tire of the threads of Meta, and the countless amount of spam flooding up there.

This will be a list of signature spammers: people who post garbage, recycled content, copy & paste, insubstantial replies, or anything else that would be a detriment to the forum. I'll be using something similar to mexxer-2's thread of "Known alts" for a layout. I would also like to note that long-worded posts can also be spam if they have no relevance to the conversation or recycle ideas and repeat things over and over again. The list will include past spammers, but note the date of the reference. If they have started to post better content again, a snippet will be added to their notes upon notification. A lot of how what is considered spam IS subjective, but it should be pretty obvious to the majority of people if something is spam or not. Usually, burst posting (many posts within a short time frame) is a sure bet sign of spamming. Post history will be marked with a number to show the number of posts they have at the point of reference.

(The initial list is a few spammers I've compiled, from other threads or what have you. I will obviously be missing a grand chunk, so please add more! I will also be aiming to add more to the list somewhat regularly)
