Kodak, the oldest photography company in the world, took part in the blockchain industry. After some time ago launched KodakCOIN through ICO, now Kodak announces making its own blockchain technology to secure digital data.

The technology allows companies and the government to manage important documents safely. Data stored on the blockchain is claimed to be accessible at any time in real time. This system will save costs up to 40 percent compared to ordinary database management technology. Because the nature of the data on the blockchain is permanent or cannot be deleted, the stored data is guaranteed not to be lost.

Kodak's involvement in the blockchain is through a partnership with RYDE Holding. They make KodakONE, a photo copyright platform and help photographers get rewarded.
