just post your loan form here, i will approved loan amount base on what is the value of the collateral.. I don't have any loan amount limitation. But for big amount of loan, expect a supporting legal documents and a valid collateral. Collateral value must be greater than loan request amount. I hope it makes clear.

Timelord is right. The borrower have the right to choose their preferred escrow. I just avail timelord as my default escrow service for fast transaction. He is very active unlike other trusted escrow on service section. The rules he stated is to be applied when the borrower won't provide trusted escrow. My standard method will be apply for other escrow service. I hope it clears now.

Isn't it more effective for the escrow to simply hold the collateral, and not touch the loan funds? You could get Kolder to pay you 0.0001BTC for each successful transaction afterward, as it basically has the same affect. Instead of:
Kolder agrees to fund the loan, sends loan amount to Timelord
Timelord gets collateral, forwards the amount to the person getting the loan
Person Repays to Timelord, Timelord returns collateral
Timelord forwards repayment to Kolder

Why not something like this? (what most lenders do):
Kolder agrees to fund the loan, gets the person getting to loan to send collateral to Timelord
Timelord secures the collateral, Kolder sends the funds
Person repay's to Kolder's address, Timelord sends collateral back.

Seems like more of a hassle doing it the first way.

By using myself When Kolder receives the loan application (be it after they have been away from their desk, or is actually online) they can send the funds to me when they approve the loan the lender can see the funds are there and can send the password to secure the collateral - it's then a question of when am I online to do the actual securing of the collateral and to release the funds.

If the lender have the money in his wallet, it will send them to the borrower asap. No need for escrow on this.

Isn't it more effective for the escrow to simply hold the collateral, and not touch the loan funds? You could get Kolder to pay you 0.0001BTC for each successful transaction afterward, as it basically has the same affect. Instead of:
Kolder agrees to fund the loan, sends loan amount to Timelord
Timelord gets collateral, forwards the amount to the person getting the loan
Person Repays to Timelord, Timelord returns collateral
Timelord forwards repayment to Kolder

Why not something like this? (what most lenders do):
Kolder agrees to fund the loan, gets the person getting to loan to send collateral to Timelord
Timelord secures the collateral, Kolder sends the funds
Person repay's to Kolder's address, Timelord sends collateral back.

Seems like more of a hassle doing it the first way.

I am confirming that i contacted timelord and we still discussing for the process of escrow as of now. I like a simpler way yet secured for both customer and me.

As of now. I will accept maximum of 0.5btc and 0.005btc minimum loan amount per user.

In this specific case (Kolder request) everything is much simpler, no need full escrow, all that is needed from you- take and held some bitcointalk.org account during loan period. (forget about altcoins, no one does not have

I also figure I would need two BitCoin addresses, the first where the lender sends the coins so the potential borrower could see the funds are available (ie a 1EscrowTL... style address) and then a unique random Wallet Address for each lender's repayments so that the lender can see the loans are, or have been, repaid. (which would be signposted on the lender's Loan approval page for transparency)

Unless I am mistaken, the time for repaying the loan would start from when it were funded so that a borrower wasn't being penalised for late payment.

And I'd have to seed the loan & repayment wallets with funds to cover initial TX fees until such time as the process were underway.

As to Alt coins, I did see one ~~other~~ lender was asking 125% collateral - I've never looked at ICO coins, so would have to look at installing a wallet for that coin.

I'd have to ensure the Alt Coin has at least one working (and stable) block explorer. (I did consider rolling a Paper Wallet to hold AltCoin's in Escrow, but I came up with a myriad of reasons (part repayment, lender can't re-import the Private Key, Lender wants AltCoins cashed out etc etc) why that might be problematic.

No collateral loan is not encouraged to use in the lending section.You can see it in pinned post and i'm not a risk taker like you because i'm still new in this kind of business. I just dont want to let my btc sleep in my wallet and at the same time help other members who badly needed btc.

It means that i didn't accept that kind of request. I'm still new in this kind of business. Maybe i will reconsider that thing later. But as far as i know. Loan without collateral is not allowed in lending section. But still it is depends on the user who will request the loan
