Recently, OKex South Korea has closed their exchange. With this article below, although it wasn't clear the reason of their closure but there must be something related to the new laws of their government.

Crypto currency is a decentralised currency. We wouldn't be expecting a seating government to completely embrace a currency that opposes its economic flows. I believe gradually crypto would be embraced and given its rightful place in our society. China currently owns its own digital currency. Patience is what we all need globally on our political leaders soon it would be become a generally accepted means of transaction across the globe

Usually, it is a common belief that a liberal government implements a pro-crypto policy, but in Korea, the conservative party is more favorable to crypto, and the liberal ruling party keeps a very negative stance on crypto since taking power 4 yrs ago.
