I am not sure if this is just a smoke and mirrors scare tactic to manipulate the market or if there is real legitimacy behind it. The US have gone down the tax regulatory road to generate revenue from crypto I would be shocked if Korea didn't want to do something similar. As a governemnt why lose out on a lucrative tax stream?
