Does anybody know if kraken.com will post my SEPA euro deposit to my account over the weekend? I'm 100% certain it's in their bank acc.
Kraken? What is it? Some kind of website who support Bitcoin?

In my opinion it's the best exchange to use if you use euro, very fast, cheapest fees and very professional support Smiley

SEPA was an improvement, and definitely, banks have been getting faster especially the last couple of years.
But still, you have faster banks and slower banks, and I don't recall ever receiving a bank transfer during the weekend.
You really should assume that the transfer has not been received by Kraken and won't be until Monday.

Aw man I wish I had more patience Sad any recommendations on what I can do to pass the time?

The money was removed from your bank account; the money is now floating around during the weekend collecting interest or whatever for your, Kraken's or some intermediate bank somewhere.
Some time after the weekend, Kraken will actually receive your money on their account, and probably some kind of automated system will automatically credit our Kraken account.

No. I also made a transfer from the same bank account to another bank acc of mine an hour later and it was in the other account with another bank within a couple of hours.. it's SEPA it's after getting much faster. As for contacting the bank, they have online banking and can check any time..

We are all at the mercy of the banks... and they don't process transfers during the weekend... nothing to do with you, Kraken, where the money is, or where it should end up...

The transfer was completed yesterday, I'm now waiting for kraken to post the money to my account so I can buy my btc, kraken has the money, they just need to put it in my kraken account now.. wondering if kraken posts money to accounts on weekends? forget the banks..
kraken will need to confirm with the bank that the money has been received and was received in cash. IF they are unable to do this then they will not credit your account.

If you would have deposited bitcoins however.. OMG it's amazing that in 2014, we still have to wait over the weekends for our deposits to settle!

banks should start using computers to process transaction, make it fully automated, it doesn't have to be perfect, just better than a human can do it aand have it process transactions 24/7 around the clock, life would be so much easier!

They have computers doing everything, including holding the money for the maximum allowed time. Imagine you're a bank and there's $10 000 000 transferred every day. By holding the money just 1 day, you have $10 000 000 available at all times to use for whatever you want.

In my experience, no. Any transfers I sent through on a Friday or over the weekend have not been processed until the following week.
