Are you a German or Japanese citizen or was the transfer sent from a German bank account? They require additional verification for these situations, as stated on their site.

Most likely it is just an issue with their banking provider or the registration system that adds them to your accounts. Fiat is getting harder and harder to work with for Crypto Exchanges and I would not be surprised at all if this is just yet another bank issue. Coinbase is really the only place I would attempt a Fiat deposit/withdrawal - other than that I would not trust anyone to do it right. ACH bank transfer is usually 2-4 days anyway.

I noticed several people with problem on their deposit with Kraken recently. I know when it's the first deposit it can take more time than others, but for most people, like in your case, is not their first deposit.. I don't know what's going on with them. They may have a problem with their bank used but last week I also noticed outgoing transfer was not possible. It may be they are checking more deep the deposits than before also. Lack of communication from Kraken, they really need to do something. I am starting to see this exchange unsafe this past weeks

Hi,

I'm a big user of Kraken for purchases of Bitcoins and Ether.

My transfer (which is almost 1 BTC in fiat) is on hold, and I can see that many people are facing this problem.

Just take a look at their Reddit support page: https://www.reddit.com/r/KrakenSupport/

People on Facebook are also complaining. Does anyone else experience this?

My account has the needed verification(s) for this deposit. I have not reached any limits. Name on Kraken matches bank account name.
I have made many deposits before.
