Yes you are. Read up on recent news about Mt Gox and you'll see that if you but Bitcoins there you can't get them out of the exchange. Hence the lower price
When I look at Kraken I see:
EUR/XBT: €492.95713 / 1 and USD/XBT $676.58714 / 1
why is it so far above MtGox for example which is W.Avg: 392.95 € / 1
