SynapsePay wire worked correctly now.

Again, it appears it was not Kraken's fault.

I have received conflicting information from Kraken as to why I cannot withdraw out of my account. They said that my ID must show all 4 corners clearly, with a dark background, and I have done this multiple times in multiple different light settings. The picture is as clear as can be yet they don't want to verify my ID. Please advise as the customer service support has been very poor to this point.

Seems like Kraken are pretty good with their timing.
They refunded me today. Neither my bank nor Kraken know exactly why Synapse pay couldn't wire the funds.

Hi Geremia. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'm going to have a manager look into this issue for you. Could you please let me know your ticket number? Thanks.

Had a similar "delay" experience but turned out to be my bank being an arse :/  Seems like Kraken are pretty good with their timing. But that trading engine on the other hand is OMG! They have said they going to fix it eventually... hope it's sooner than later though! I only trust them and Bitstamp; but Kraken always has a better price for sellers, so it was my only exit option in that sense.

Kraken responded to me fairly quickly:

Unfortunately all I can see is that there was a timeout error. They attempted to connect with your bank and exceeded the amount of allowable retries. I would suggest reaching out to your bank to make sure all the wiring information you have is correct, just to be sure.
It appears to be an issue with Synapse Pay and not Kraken.

the reply received today after another 3 silent days:

only ONE developer could unblock the situation, and he's very busy these times.

Please rest assured that your deposit will be credited as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Your withdrawal was returned by Synapse because they couldn’t settle the transaction. I have notified our development team and the withdrawal should be refunded in your Kraken account within the next few business days. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I wonder why Synapse couldn't settle it.

i got also some problems to see my money credited on kraken
Bank transfer from outside us - they have problem in the reference received

it's now 2 weeks the transfer done and my money out of my account
open a ticket 10 days ago but they ask me to wait
send a lot of documents to proof nothing is wrong with my account and transaction - they still ask me to wait

for me 2 weeks it's too late to cure a reference problem

I know they switched from "Synapse Financial" to "Evolve Bank & Trus" sometime in the second half of May this year. Perhaps "Evolve Bank & Trus" is having issues?

Anyone else here experiencing a delay in withdrawing USD from Kraken in the US? It's taken longer than 5 business days for me now, which is unusual; usually it takes only a few days.

Personally no. But i haven't used kraken since last month so i can't really say if an issue is arising right now.

But their support generally replies way faster than poloniex support - you should get a response very soon if you haven't already gotten one from them. Just be patient, they are a licenced and regulated exchange, they won't just run away with your funds.

Please update us on the situation.

Since when the status is showing "success"?
It showed that immediately when I did the transaction.

Then they don't have a problem with funding only but with withdrawals too. When you request a transfer to your bank account the status shows "initiated" then "sending" (once you see this you're sure to receive the next day when you wake up) and finally "success"( is showing at the end of the day you got your payment)

Hope you get your problem fixed asap. :/

Hi,

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, due to a temporary technical difficulty with USD funding for US residents, we will be unable to address your issue for an undetermined period of time. All other site functions are working as intended. Please let me know if there is any other assistance you need. We will update you as soon as this current issue is resolved.

Warm Regards,

I checked my withdrawal status at https://www.kraken.com/u/funding/withdraw , and it's said "success" for weeks…

Try to reply again because the staff support is making confusion between funding and withdrawal. The reply says they have a technical difficulty with USD funding for US citizens but your problem is about withdrawal. Sometimes they reply in hurry and give an unrelated answer.
Since when the status is showing "success"? Usually it shows "success" after you received the transfer (like the next day)

It becomes a nightmare for platforms such as Kraken to deal with US citizens due to US Banks etc. Add the fact that Americans are a very small minority in the market it means it is not a top priority for them and not neccessary worth. I remember Bitfinex or Bitstamp totally removed withdrawals to US citizens

Bitstamp has deposit delays. Kraken has withdrawal delays.... What's going on??
There must be some internal errors from their side, you should wait and be patient, try to do it again later after an hour, but if it does happen again, you should contact them via support ticket asap.
Here's some link with Kraken support https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and to Bitstamp email support [email protected]
