Thanks man, I have already accepted the fact that my money is gone. All I can do now is draw lessons out of it and be happy it was not that much that was stolen.
You are absolutely right, I should have set up two step authentication for account login, withdrawal and trading.
However, I am still expecting something from Kraken other than nothing. I still have no reply from them. I am talking absolutely nothing, just the automatically generated email to my support ticket. Given that my account was broken into, I would like to know if they where able to access my personal information, like my driver licence which I once uploaded to achieve Tier 3 Captain verification status.
_If_ the answer to my question "How where they able to break in" is "It's the account owners fault", I would still like to have some kind of report about the possible damage done. I would think that filling a ticket under "Account Security" would prompt them to send me _some_ kind of reply, even if its just a message that unfortunately my money is gone but my questions and uncertainty is being looked into.
