On 19th Feb. 2024 my Kucoin account suddenly showed "withdrawals blocked"! Being a fully verified user since years,
I contacted support. They asked for an "Enhanced Customer Due Diligence Questionnaire" ECDDQ and a proof of residence. I provided the infos in the form and a phone bill for my residence.

In any case, these are insufficient excuses since you provided the new information according to the form. This is the problem with centralized exchanges, as your account can be banned at any time without clear reasons, and they are good at making up false excuses to cover up their failure.
This isn't an excuse, though. It is a shame for KuCoin to proudly claim they have 24/7 support and yet they can't resolve seemingly simple issues for many days. Not only are they most likely understaffed, what they probably have are also overworked, clueless, and underpaid outsourced workers from god knows which part of the globe.
That's bascially the case for all exchanges, even the top tier ones like Binance. And I don't think its only about being understuff/clueless, imho its more about not giving a fuck as they know that their users can't do much.Once I had my Binance withdrawals blocked for weeks for no obvious reason and only after I contacted them via reddit, it got unlocked in a matter of 20-30 minutes.

Also, as far as I know, savings can't be considered source of asset.
@aylabadia05: The big exchange markets to my knowledge all require KYC. Only P2P markets like https://bisq.network or https://hodlhodl.com allow you to exchange coins and fiat without KYC. At these markets choose partners with good long time reputation.

I just wanted to register on Kucoin, but because it required KYC, I stopped continuing with the aim of giving my mind a chance to consider whether I wanted to continue or not. Why? because there are already two local exchanges that I have registered and actively use.
5,000 USD is a decent amount for me.
The coin to withdraw is Bitcoin and the amount is under 5000 USD.

Sadly, if you have already sent them numerous times of follow up email for your concern, there is nothing we can do about it. You have to wait for an unknown period of time and there is no need for you to post that ticket number. The last post from their ann thread and representative was from October 2023. They are probably doing some investigation about your withdrawal and account but if you have already provided everything that they've been asking from you, they should give you a feedback on how it goes.

Sadly, kucoin's bitcointalk rep has been inactive and has only posted promotional post for the most part. Have you tried escalating this through their subreddit r/kucoin? whenever I visit, support agents are active there but be careful of fake support scams because they are pretty rampant.
