This is really interesting. I didn't know that he accepted a really low amount of salary like this. But on the other hand he wasn't going to be able to play for the whole season probably. Because Simeone wasn't thinking of giving any chance to him. Of course he could have earned much more money but still it is really bad to have the whole season without playing properly.

It was Felix's dream to play for Barcelona as well. His dream has just come true and he must be really happy with this. I'm confident that he can find quite many chances at Barcelona. It is up to him to make use of them in the best way possible.

The bad relationship between Joao and Simeone has made this complicated, so Joao's position in the main squad has been threatened since Joao and Simeone had an argument.
It looks like Atletico are quite sorry now because seeing the relationship between Joao and Simeone continues to deteriorate then I think it would be better if they released Joao from the previous few seasons because if you reflect on the previous few seasons Joao has been offered at a high enough price by several clubs.
But now that is a thing of the past. Joao and Atletico who initially had a relationship will now be opposite.

Btw this is like a good revenge from Barcelona because seeing before they had experienced almost similar conditions by Griezmann now Atletico also feel the same way

Joao Felix is still young. He is talented. He has the ability to perform well with Barcelona. But the problem is that he is not a regular scorer. I am aware of Joao Felix's performances in the last few seasons. He did not score many goals in any season. Joao Felix's highest number of goals in a season in La Liga is 8. If Joao Felix is considered as a replacement player then he is good enough. But if Xavi adds Joao Felix to his squad to make room for Barcelona's main squad, then I would say Joao Felix is not yet fit to be in Barcelona's starting XI. He should be more diligent. If Joao Felix's performance continues, perhaps Xavi will give Joao Felix a chance to stay in the starting XI.

You have to look at it from the other side. Barcelona now have a hard time transferring players because there are Financial Fair Play implications. I also think that there may be money to be given to him from the other side to get rid of these effects. Now teams are thinking from all sides to avoid penalties. That's why I don't think Felix will play 400,000.

Felix's problem is precisely this, that he cannot find his place. Now he is interested in fulfilling that dream by giving himself something for Barcelona and also flourished him self with this club.  I think even if Joao Felix temporarily loses this deal, he has a big plan for his future that he wants to implement from here. If he performs well with this reputed club he can quickly take his career to a higher level for which he is temporarily not prioritizing money.

It sounds non sense but that's real. 400k for a whole of season is something crazy. I remember if chelsea had been offering him 250k for a week and around 10 million for whole of a season. It seems like that felix being very obsessed to join in the barcelona.
There's nothing wrong with it but can't even believe how he was accepting a very low salary that has been offered by barcelona. Barcelona needs to compensate him for being included in the starting line up.

It's crazy to see this guy was taking such decision. It will be a big heart break for him if he will not get enough time to play in the main squad.

firstly, maybe Xavi will try this young player first in a few matches and if Joao Felix makes an improvement in Barcelona performance I'm sure even though he is currently on loan from Atletico madrid, he is a reliable player and can make a good contribution to Barcelona winning the title in La Liga. all of this just speculation, Im not sure I will be a major player at Barcelona, but what is more certain, Xavi will certainly always consider wisely and the reason for borrowing Joao Felix is that there must be a very good purpose for this team.

The first thing is that João Félix is still young. He is only 23 years old. He has a long career ahead of him. If he stays with La Liga's best team Barcelona this time around, he'll be able to sort himself out quickly. He can solve his own problems. and become more experienced. It must be admitted that Barcelona is a bit more shrewd in utilizing the current transfer market than Real Madrid. Even though Barcelona is experiencing financial constraints, the presence of several loan players such as Felix and Cancelo will be quite helpful and provide full strength on the front lines, so that Xavi has many options to reduce his squad when playing.
