Girona's late win meant they managed to secure full points at home against Las Palmas. I had thought this match would end in a draw without any goals because judging by the statistics the two teams were quite even. Even Las Palmas has slightly better ball possession than Girona. But the only goal that was scored came in the 88th minute and Cristian Portu saved Girona from a draw. Now Girona is increasingly confident in 2nd place in the standings and is only 2 points behind Real Madrid.

I underrated Bellingham so much but somehow, Ancelotti was right, at least for now because Vinicius and Toni Kroos were present among the fans yesterday and they watched the match with the rest minds. What I find interesting about Bellingham is the way he always scored, always when it is needed and he makes sure to always deliver, Getafe opened the floor with a goal and gave us a lead but the mighty did his thing that we were not losing this round yet, perhaps another week but not today.
I like the way Ancelotti has kept to his style of play by making Bellingham the main centre forward without involving Rodrigo, it gives them fair play just that I understand why Rodrigo hasn't picked on goal scoring yet. I think it is quite unfortunate that the match between Atletico and Sevilla was postponed due to rain based on the information available. But maybe, because of postponed match like this, it seems will make Sevilla maybe quite lucky. Because that way, at least Sevilla will be able to get better preparation for the next match. If you look at the transfers made in world football this year, I think the most effective and efficient transfer was Jude Bellingham. He became stronger with Real Madrid's excellent training program and managed to score in every game he played in La Liga. An incredible statistic for a non-striker football player. He was the best transfer for Real Madrid.

Bellingham was about as good as it could get for Real Madrid as a transfer. Yes they have been trying for so long to sign Mbappe, but the Bellingham transfer somehow makes up for the failed transfer so far. It has been a very long time since Valencia was unable to beat Atletico, moreover at this moment Atletico is clearly better than Valencia. But of course this is just the beginning and Getafe is not an opponent on the same level as Madrid, I think Madrid meeting with Barcelona or Atletico can be a benchmark. That they are quite strong in La Liga this season, and ready to win the title at the end of the season.
