Modric and Kroos are irreplaceable, they are the best duo midfielders Real Madrid ever had. But Modric is getting old, he seems rarely to play full time. While Kroos is still playing as the main player in Real Madrid. I think Modric may leave Real Madrid in the next 1-2 years, but Kross looks to stay a bit longer in Real Madrid. The young midfielders in Real Madrid sill need an experienced player to help them growing. However, I'm not sure if Modric and Kroos can stay in Real Madrid after the next 3 years.

I'm also a bit confused with Real Madrid. They only signed Joselu although they need top strikers to strengthen their attacking power. It is not enough to improve the midfield line only, the attacking line must be improved too. In the last few matches, Real Madrid attacking looks not convincing, especially when they were against Barcelona. But I heard Real Madrid already got a personal agreement with Mbappe. It may be the reason why Real Madrid doesn't try to negotiate for Osimhen or Harry Kane. Real Madrid seems to wait for Mbappe in the next year and keep the number 9 for Mbappe.

I think Real Madrid would be better with Mbappe than with Harry Kane even though I think I know what you mean, but getting Mbappe now at the age he is would mean that Real Madrid could build an offensive for a long future that is the best in the world. With Vinicius Junior and Mbappe they would be difficult to defend. But sure Harry Kane would also be a good transfer for them as he would be the perfect replacement for Benzema.

Both of them are still among the most vital players in Madrid and their presence will certainly add positively and I agree with what you said because although the contracts are for one season and it is possible that next season both or one of them could leave but at the moment they are still very useful for Madrid's midfield.
Since last season there have been some attempts at regeneration by Madrid but so far Modric and Kroos have been hard to replace but I still feel that this season will be a little lighter on their task as some of the younger players are still an option in this regard.
Jude and Valverde can still be pulled back as replacement options and Tchouameni has been very good but he still can't cover all the gaps when Kroos isn't playing but I think this season we will see a difference in this regard.
Modric and Kroos are legends for Madrid but now regeneration is definitely a must as they are getting older.

In the end both veteran midfielders admitted that his days as important players in the Real Madrid squad would be over in a matter of seasons. For the center forward position actually Madrid have many options if they want it, but they only borrow Joselu from Espanyol. isn't this a little strange, even though Madrid has very good finances even though they have poured out large funds just for Bellingham. whereas, Madrid could have brought in Osimhen. IMO, Osimhen could be an ideal choice for a centre-forward position, it could also be that Madrid brought Kane from Spurs, but they didn't do that either.
So, it is only natural that Madrid is actually waiting for Mbappe to leave after his contract period ends. with that scenario, they could get the star for free. isn't this a quite logical scenario, even if we have to speculate by borrowing Joselu.
