Of course Mbappe really deserves the status of a player who can replace Benzema's role at Real Madrid, but the problem is when will Real Madrid complete his transfer?

Real Madrid have been monitoring Mbappe's situation at PSG so far, but I don't see them moving quickly to sign the player as quickly as people would like. Mbappe's high transfer fee may be a major obstacle for Real Madrid although Mbappe has expressed his interest in joining the La Liga giants some time ago. Mbappe's transfer saga heated up at PSG after he did not want to extend his contract. He's certainly good for Real Madrid, but Real Madrid haven't tried to offer PSG seriously.

I'm sure the offer Diego Simione got from Saudi League is much higher than what he can earn in Atletico Madrid but still, the thing about Diego Simione is his loyalty to Atletico Madrid because as you just said he is very loyal to Atletico Madrid and he is coaching this team for years.

Rodrygo, Vinicius, Joselu are three good strikers, but so far I don't think these three players will be able to answer many of the fans' doubts next season when Real Madrid loses Benzema. I really doubt the chances of a good title next season for Real Madrid if they don't have a pure striker.

Ancelotti can force the use of players who incidentally play in different positions such as Bellingham or Federico Valverde, but of course they will not be as comfortable playing in main positions as midfielder. Of course that is a problem for Ancelotti to sort out who currently has only one season left on his contract, but if he doesn't then I think he will go out without a title next season.

It is a good question. This season is going to be important for especially Diego Simeone. Because he is in his last year of his contract with Atletico Madrid now. Atletico Madrid don't seem to be rushing anything to extend his contract yet. I think this shows that the board haven't been satisfied with their performance in the recent years.

Especially last season was even worse for Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. It was a horrible group stage performance. In the La Liga not much thing changed as well. They should be a team to be able to enter a title rivalry normally.

Considering all of this Simeone must find a way to improve this performance. But in my opinion Atletico Madrid will have a similar season and this will be the end of Simeone era for this team after a relationship of 10+ years.

I agree that it's not smart to judge the teams like that, but at the end of the day they are showing that they are lacking a striker and it's obvious. Normally when their wingers get in, they have someone to pass to, and I mean someone that won Ballon D'or just the other year, so we could technically say that they had the greatest striker of that season, and then just one season later they do not have any striker at all.

I understand that there are some players there that can play the striker position but they are not top quality that is worthy of Real Madrid, and I think it does matter in the end. I think it's going to be important to make that distinction and not play them. So all in all, they will definitely have hard time this year.

Carlo Ancelotti will run into the same problems as Nagelsmann/Tuchel from Bayern and he already did when Benzema was injured. I agree that a natural number nine would be the best for Real Madrid, but isn't Joselu a natural number nine? I thought so and while Mbappe would be an amazing addition to the team, he also isn't a natural number nine. Haaland is a natural number nine and Lewandowski and Benzema.

I said in the Bundesliga discussion thread that Harry Kane is hesitating despite the agreement between Tottenham and Bayern, but what is the reason for his hesitation. I think it is possible that Real Madrid is still involved and trying to convince Kane as well. But what would happen if Kane decided to go to Real Madrid and PSG lets Mbappe go? Wouldn't Real Madrid have trouble paying for both of them?

My choice would also be Mbappe. His stats so far are really good. I think Mbappe is the only name that will not look for Benzema's absence. A star like Mbappe can play for many years in a team like Real Madrid. I'm sure Mbappe is waiting for Real Madrid in the transfer window. Mbappe's contribution will be very high as he wants Real Madrid. Because when Mbappe plays for the team he wants, his motivation will reach the highest level.

His performance in both the National team and PSG was top notch. That's why I don't think he will have compatibility problems with the team he transferred to.

Benzema is a great player. And Benzema's performances at Madrid in the last few seasons have been very commendable. He had a great couple of seasons at Madrid. Individually, Mbappe is capable of better performances than Benzema. I won't deny it. Compared to Benzema, Mbappe is definitely a better player and has more goalscoring ability. But I doubt Mbappe can contribute like Benzema in Madrid's squad.

Benzema was a scorer. But his teammates got a lot of help from him. Benzema has played an important role in keeping the overall performance of the team stable. Mbappe is a great scorer. But the problem is that he plays a bit selfishly. He is interested in scoring but not assisting. Such behavior by any player can make the overall performance of the team unstable.

If Mbappe plays at his maximum for a whole season and several years in a row, he is guaranteed top 3 of world's best players every year for many years in a row. I know that Benzema had one amazing season and he is a great striker, but on an individual level he isn't as good as Mbappe if you compare the best of Benzema with the best of Mbappe.

Mbappe scored more goals in 68 games for the France national team than Benzema in 97 games. I appreciate both players but if I had to choose one of them for my own team, I would pick Mbappe.

Conversion of footballers to areas they are not naturally gifted or trained to play in is nothing always the best decision. V. Júnior, Joselu, and Rodrygo are all good players that have quality but Madrid needs a natural number nine. All their ball possession in the preseason games against Juventus and Barcelona didn't reflect on the score line because of wasted goal chances caused by the lack of a skillful finisher. The club needs to get a good replacement for Benzema before the window closes.

Maybe Carlo Ancelotti will have to rely on the young striker Alvaro Rodriguez this season. Madrid has refused to let the young striker leave despite interest from different clubs in La Liga. The 19years attacking prodigy broke into the main team last season and performed excellently. The Uruguayan was not part of the team that traveled to the US pre-season tour, but he is highly regarded in Madrid.

In terms of true quality, Mbappe can make the same contribution as Benzema, if he is consistent and not covered in injuries he can reach the level of Benzema in Madrid. But the latest news says that Mbappe will not go to Real Madrid this summer, Mbappe has chosen to stay until his contract expires with PSG.

On the other hand, if Madrid don't recruit new players anymore, then Ancelotti can only take advantage of the current squad. I don't think the Madrid squad doesn't lack options in attack, Joselu can rely on Ancelotti for a while.

Almeria and Rayo Vallecano are not promoted teams and as such, both Almeria and Rayo Vallecano played in La Liga last season. Last season's final standings also showed that Rayo Vallecano could finish in a better position than Almeria who were very close to the relegation zone. Also, in terms of head to head also at least Rayo Vallecano looks better and thus, then I personally might choose Rayo Vallecano maybe with a double chance option like x2.

It is very clear that Real Madrid urgently need a centre-forward who can replace Benzema. Although Florentino Pérez stated that Real Madrid will not be buying any more players in the near future, I think it is true that Ancelotti really needs him for next season. Real Madrid will really struggle to win games without Benzema, so if they insist on playing without a good centre-forward then I don't think Real Madrid will win the title next season.

I agree that Mbappe is a centre-forward who can basically replace Benzema well at Real Madrid. His relationship with PSG soured after Mbappe rejected the offer of a contract extension and whatever PSG's approach, so I think that sooner or later Kylian Mbappe will move to Real Madrid.

Last season this two teams were not performing teams in laliga,  so it will be difficult to predict which of them will be the winner of this game in tomorrow's match. But this game will be interesting because the both teams will be tough playing defensive game. To me this two teams may have the same football strength or no difference in their performance,  so the game may likely end up in draw game. Any of the team that is lucky to win the game,  then it is good start for the lucky one to gain victory.

Kylian Mbappe can more than make up for the kind of contribution that Benzema made. Because Kylian Mbappé is interested in coming to Real Madrid, he will play for the team with his best.

As usual after Mbappe and madrid became traffic for the media now looking for a replacement goalkeeper for Courtois Lunin will be good traffic for the media too, I personally might be more suitable to replace Courtois Lunin is David De Gea because I think he deserves it compared to the other 2 candidates , because as far as I see David De Gea probably has quite a lot of experience and playing hours at MU, so maybe he can play better in Madrid.

But it all comes back to Madrid's management, maybe in the near future they will definitely take quick action to temporarily replace Courtois Lunin to start the La Liga match which will not take long to start in the near future. but I think De Gea is the right choice for Madrid

What a coup they did, PSG certainly didnt treat these players well if they ran away: obviously money cant buy everything, not even loyalty

Basically, Modric and Kroos will not be at Real Madrid for long, and I think they are also lucky enough to be there working together for one more season. Moreover, they have now brought in a center player who is believed to be projected to replace the position of these 2 senior players.

I think we will all agree that one of the positions they really need right now is a center forward who can be the difference in every match. It's difficult to find someone who can replace Benzema.

Now Mbappe is a player who has been heavily linked with them, and if the deal happens, it will fill their much talked about gap.
What is strong now is their midfield, the youngsters, seniors and new signings are a promising collaboration.
