Dembele is a typical running player whose job is to mess up the opponent's defense in contrast to Lewandowski who is a targetman.
Now when Barcelona lose Dembele, it will actually be beneficial in my opinion considering that with a 100 million clause, this will be better for Barcelona's finances which are still disturbed. On the other hand, this could also give Xavi a good option to look for other attacking alternatives to make his squad more complex.
Dembele's salary burden is too large amid Barcelona's unstable financial condition, so his departure to PSG can be a solution to minimize finances. In that position there is also Raphinha who can replace and his performance can also be said to have improved in the previous season, so it will not affect the sharpness of the attacks built by Barcelona players.
Although in the end this will make a difference, there are other things that are more worth it than that.
The 100 million release clause and the reduction in salary burden that will be quite a lot when Dembele leaves will give a good return to Barcelona so I think it is something that is worth it to do.
Barcelona still have a cash problem with the wage bill so when there is an opportunity to improve it would be a shame to let it go.
