It is totally normal that Real Madrid are shown as the biggest contender of the La Liga title now. Because they have technically a stronger squad than Barcelona and they have been more consistent than them in general in the recent years. Last season wasn't a good example of it but I will be expecting Real Madrid to return much stronger now.
Especially if Mbappe was about to join them this summer I can't even imagine how much more powerful they would have been. But he isn't as it seems. We will need to wait for that for another season.
I think we all agree that if Mbappe joins this season, of course Madrid will be the strongest club in La Liga because of course Barcelona's competitors can still be conquered with a complete team squad this season, but unfortunately we haven't really seen Madrid's seriousness in taking Mbappe from PSG and also as we can see that Mbappe wants to finish his contract with PSG so it's not sure where exactly he will go.
I still believe that he has the desire to play at Madrid but maybe he needs to finish his contract at PSG to be able to move, so just waiting for another season to see him join Madrid, rumors about him going to Madrid will always be a good income for the media to make news about him PSG, madrid and Mbappe. it will never end where we will see Mbappe with a madrid jersey.
I don't think everyone agrees, because everyone will definitely have a different assessment even though Mbappe is in the line-up owned by Real Madrid. I'm one person who is still in question, I mean, I don't doubt that Mbappe is a great player, but I have to first see what he can do. A new club definitely requires an adaptation process, I don't mean to say that his adaptation will fail, but I'm just realistic about this, because we all know that the process is not as easy as it seems. So I have to make sure on the pitch first.
Also make no mistake, Barcelona will be better prepared now, last season they proved they can bounce back very well and maybe they will do the same next season, or even more. Who knows.
