Well, to be honest, even if he doesn't stay, he will become a legend and everyone will probably even feel more sympathetic to his cause, knowing that he wanted to stay and even extended, but that the club couldn't keep him. They should let Varane go if he wants. He has won almost every trophy at Real Madrid except the Europa cup, so I don't think there's anything new he has to offer there.

By now, Real Madrid should have lined up for a couple of good centre backs in preparation for the replacements, but I don't know why they are taking so long. I, for one, hate last minute transfers.

I read just now, that madrid still have club profits for the last 2 years. Madrid is known to have reported a post-tax profit of €874,000 (Rp 14.9 billion) for 2020-21, up from €313,000 (Rp 5.3 billion) the previous year. But apart from profits they also reported that they lost almost €300 million (Rp 5.1 trillion) during the coronavirus pandemic.

Neymar I always felt was never looking for a real challenge. I mean, yeah he moved to Paris but that club was there to win it all and conquer everything. Messi's a different story, he would succeed easily wherever he went, even if he is a bit older now, he's just a guy with a heart totally conquered by Barca.

Suarez, yeah, a different case as well, he grew and grew wherever he went, you can even argue he changed again at Ateltico.
