Okay, this is kind of petty, but I was just in HR Block for an unconnected reason, and I talked a bit with a lady at one of the desks. To my amazement, she had never even heard of Bitcoin, and I ended up giving her a quick synopsis, which seemed to intrigue her. I was amazed in this day and age of the internet and the vast dissemination of information every which way, that somebody who does money for a living basically had managed to stay ignorant of the coin. Don't they even bring it up in their refresher courses? Is it that far beneath the radar? Who is not getting the word out? Not that I was in the first place, but I'm sure as hell not going there to have my taxes done. My CPA is at least as clued in as I am about BtC. Jeez. It just hit me as peculiar, I guess. Maybe she slept through that part of the course.
