I'm on a different network now, and the website works.
The error must have had something to do with the public wifi network I was using when it happened.

Just to clarify - by LakeBTC you are referring to well known bitcoin exchange - https://www.lakebtc.com/?
There is no problem with their SSL currently, it is not expired, as it is working fine on my side. Millionero, there is something wrong with your browsers or connection.

Their certificate hasn't expired yet (it will at 1/15/2017 so roughly 18 days to go). They could renew it within the next 48 days (30 days after the expiration date although it doesn't make them secure the moment it expires).

Perhaps you visited two websites and thought is LakeBTC.

I decided to log in to my account at LakeBTC.  I get the "your connection is not private" error, and it says the security certificate expired 38 days ago.  What's up with that?  You would think a major bitcoin exchange would maintain its certificate.
I tried two browsers, same thing.
