The hacker spirit breaks any spell
for example - marketing
- ICO for raise some money and token can be used for bet in your game
- CAMPAIGN (signature, facebook, twitter, ...) and for prize give tokens (see up)

for UX take a real UX (pay him with tokens) and improve it

UX is all, apple mac are pretty nice and users love them

I'm intrigued.. Idea is good. Obviosly only for new guys who are tying to try the crypto world. Let's see how much peeps will get into this

Yes, idea is really good and original
Need to.improve markering (with a campaign, for example) and need to improve UX to standard quality

And this game do a big kaboom
The team are a product development guys, less experience in marketing, so they are trying to do so... , But if there are some good  approaches, I am all ears.

The first time I launched the game, the default language was Japanese/Chinese, so I could not figure out how to change the language option to English. Is this done on purpose or does it detect a specific region and then change the default to the native language for that area?

I access the internet through Tor and anon proxies, so that might be why it assigned a default Japanese/Chinese language by default.  Roll Eyes

it did the same to me, I had a genuine what the hell moment
good thing I realised there must be a language switcher at the top and found it
but this could be very confusing to many people,I suggest you set English by default even if you are targeting the asian audience more
also I support the "try before you buy" idea where there is some sort of a starting bonus or a daily faucet introduced
Theres a problem with Language transition because if I do set it on English when you press another link or tab it would comeback on Chinese language. Huh
It has been found as a bug, and fixed

Language is at the top-right in the page within a box. The default is determined by your lang setting in browser.

Ah, Thank you very much. I doubt if the browser setting had anything to do with that, because my browser settings was set as English by default. I thought the private VPN/Proxy had something to do with it or the Tor node, but I refreshed the session and I linked via a Tor node in the UK and I got the same result.

In any way, I located the language setting by copy & pasting the text into Google translate and changed it to English.  Grin

If you are going to start game and require people to put their money in your website and trust that you will not just run away with their money, you gotta get a better coder. That website looks soo horrible that I can literally ask someone to make a "scam looking website" and this would be the result.

You either need to get a better website done or just close it all together with all your hopes of having ton of money to run away with. Don't scam people so blandly, at least not here, people will negative trust you and bury you to ground for even just attempting to scam anyone. You need to develop some sort of trust with the community in order to make any sort of money.

Your token is totally under your control by the Ethereum keystore files, which are stored in your client locally and never ever sent out anywhere else.

The game's idea sounds pretty interesting, since at least I never saw anything like it before. As your website looks new, you really should make small welcome bonuses or faucets, so that people could first try out the game without depositing their own money. I also wonder why one deposits ethereum, but mines some token, or is one mining the same thing one is playing with? Is it a token that is truly mined this way, or is it more like the mining simulation game?
And your website works inconveniently, because when I push something from the navigation at the bottom of this website, I have to scroll all the way up to see what information there is on this specific webpage.

Thanks for your suggestion. It's a mining simulation game. One token is used to mine the same kind of token, no swap.

Absolutely agree with the looks, and there's hardly any distinction between the text that indicates the text can be clicked. I would suggest adding a box around clickable text to make the site easier to navigate.

Translations from Chinese to English are decent on the site, but I wouldn't gamble on a site that looks like it took five minutes to make either. Seems like an interesting game to me, but the website just looks way too cheaply made.

Just faced up this new concept of mining game but until now im little bit confused and trying to figure it out but well i agree on most statements above.

The Shapeshift idea is okay too, but we lose funds just changing.

Something is always better than nothing...but you are correct.

Why projects launch, then want to have love from bitcoin when doing nothing for bitcoin will always be a mystery.

They aren't "kind of the same," once you get into the altcoin realm it decreases the amount of potential customers dramatically.

Conversions would always require a fee and i dont see any gamblers would really be interested on that one.

Gambling sites that hold BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC can do the swaps with zero fee, not that they do.

It would actually be a good business for someone. Cut the fee in half of what shapeshift would do, then do all the swaps for gambling sites that don't have solutions for this.

Then the players get lower fee than they normally would, a business gets small consistent customers for exchanges and the gambling site can target more customers.
Another side income on their part if thats the case which is a good idea but they should hold up those coins to make exchangers but not to underestimate new gambling sites, most of them do have that limited bankroll which means most of the time they dont have that capacity which they would end up on relying on those quick swap sites.

Someone will come into crypto gambling with a huge bankroll and act like pokerstars did when credit cards for depositing online was new and sketchy back in 2005.

The first mover to make every gambler know their crypto funds are secure and that being paid will never be a problem for customers, takes the majority of crypto gamblers.
Trust and security would always matter.

The concept is so difficult to grasp that I rather just play good 'ol dice on some random betting site. The land, mining, height, landsecrets sounds too much fancier than a "dice-roll". Now you know why the gambling scene doesn't welcome new fancy games.
Correct, not all gamblers would be that too tech-savy which they will able understand easily on how these kind of game works.
But most of crypto players know the concept of mining and subsidy, that's the point of this game.

No faucet, no bitcoin...no dice...

You should get shapeshift to handle swaps from BTC to ETH (like so many do) if want any love on the bitcointalk forum...

It does look interesting though, will give you that, just can't do anything with it.

Sorry OP but this is the truth. While there is a growing Ethereum community of people who love to gamble ETH on smart contract games, that's still a niche that common and typical gamblers on this forum (like me!) won't really want to try. Most of our funds are in Bitcoin, and if we want to cash out, Bitcoin is the way.

This is after all a Bitcoin forum. The Shapeshift idea is okay too, but we lose funds just changing.

Very interesting yes, but as long as we're required to access via a wallet and on Ether, very few people from here will try it.

If nobody can try the game without giving a random Ethereum address and sending tokens your way, it's going to be slowwww to start.

Why no Bitcoin option or faucet of some type?

Currently, only Eth and ERC20 tokens are supported, no bitcoin

Blockchain based predicted game LandSecrets launched now! Join the game at https://landsecrets.io, and enjoy yourself!
https://landsecrets.io/images/20180818.png

What's LandSecrets
LandSecrets is a blockchain smart contract based predicted mining game. You can buy one or more land(s) combined with future Ethereum height using token, and waits for
the miner to dig at this block height. If a your land is mined successfully, you will get the reward tokens in your wallet.
  https://landsecrets.io/images/20180821-game.png

What is the underlying mechanism of LandSecrets
LandSecrets is based on Ethereum blockchain. Each land you bought has a secret number and mining height, all of which are recorded in blockchain via smart contract. If a
miner, at this height, submits a block whose hash prefix matches your land secret number, then your land is determined mining successfully. LandSecrets built upon smart
contract is open and impartial, scam and fraud are impossible.

What kind of lands are in LandSecrets
You can buy any of 3 kinds of lands: Marginal land(0-F), Mid land(East, South, West, North), Rich land(Low, High) . These lands have different probability to find out the
mineral: marginal land is 1/16, mid land is 1/4 and rich land is 1/2.

How to play LandSecrets
First of all, you need have some ETH. Then from the HOME page, click START button to sign up the game through ETH token. After you enter the game, you can buy one or
more land(s). Each of the lands is marked with a specific secret number and corresponding color, which will be used to determine if it has been mined successfully. Finally, you
wait for the miner to dig your land at specific blockchain height, and if the height's secret number is same as your land, you win and get subsidy.

How to determine whether or not a land is mined successful
The different land has different secret number, which will be used to compare with the prefix of block hash as following:
  • Rich land: "Low" represents block hash prefix 0-7, "High" represents block hash prefix 8-F.
  • Mid land: "North" represents block hash prefix 0-3, "West" represents block hash prefix 4-7, "South" represents block hash prefix 8-B, "East" represents block hash prefix C-
     F
  • Marginal land: Each land represents block hash prefix.
For example, at height 5542400, the block hash is 0x27da85b***01892c46d, the prefix is 2. Alice purchased a "Low” which represents 0-7 including 2, so it is mined
successfully. Bob purchased an "North "which represents 0-3 including 2, so it is mined successfully. Cindy purchased a "F", so it is mined failed.
  https://landsecrets.io/images/20180821-list.png

How does LandSecrets wallet work, is it secure
In the LandSecrets wallet page, it shows current wallet address. Click the "Export" button to export the wallet keystore content in order to prevent wallet from losing. Click
"Logout" button to switch another address.
ETH and Token can be sent out to other address in the wallet page. Just input the address and amount, then click "Send" button. A few amount of gas fee will be charged
  when sending succeed.
LandSecrets wallet is very secure, the wallet and keystore are stored in your client only, it is never ever sent out anywhere.
