You have already been given advice on what to do in the previous two posts. I would just like to ask what kind of private information is/was stored on that laptop that broke down? Did it contain your wallet file, seed, private keys that someone could have easily found? Like the people in the repair shop who worked on your device. If that is the case, I would suggest you transfer everything to a new wallet and make sure that private information is not stored in a digital form, especially not online.

It seems that you are using Blockonomics payment gateway from your website the design looks the same as Blockonomics and already tried it. You have a problem with your payment gateway according to the error result when testing it.

I think while your laptop is broken much better make a temporary wallet to setup your Blockonomics payment gateway. Or follow what suggested above and get your wallet file under this path \Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets then copy them and import it to your new laptop or PC.

If you have backup seed phrase physically you can import them to a new wallet then get your xPub key again and paste it blockconomics. If you don't know or forgot how to setup it again you can follow this guide "The Easy Way To Accept Bitcoin Payments On Wordpress".

I think if your HDD is fine you don't need to worry about your wallet since you still use the old xPub even your wallet is offline you can still receive payment from your website.

Change is in your hands
Why do you need the wallet file tom? Did you not backup your seed? If you have the seed, then you can simply import that on the pc you are currently on... If you need help with that you can ask me here, Don't share your seed with anyone as your wallet is your seed, if you have the seed then you have got nothing to worry about if you don't then you will have to pull out your HDD from your other laptop and run it on one of the external HDD connectors i.e if you HDD isn't dead. What did the repair service tell you about your laptop? Did they mention something about your HDD? Or is it something else?

Hello, I have an Electrum wallet on another laptop, which holds all the Bitcoin payments obtained at my webshop www.sarmking.com.

This laptop broke down after a repair company messed around with it. Now I would like to know how I can make sure that my wallet is safe. I also need to make a payment now to my Bitcoin provider (which I cannot do since laptop with wallet broke down) and at the moment they blocked all received payments.

Please advise me how to continue from here, because I do not know if the files on my laptop will be saved after I have it repaired. Any further info I need to share please tell me!!!

Best,

Tom
