Had to write that it is a easy choice on which one is better, the one that can run Vista/Ubuntu.  The OS told me right off the bat which one I would pick of the two.  Also I will say this with kids, the Dell can take a beating whereas the Toshiba not so much.  Daughter has been beating up on a dell and that thing will not die, I had a toshiba and talk about sensitive to the point I was like never again so I could not see that handling up well against a kid no matter what age.

That is just my experience,


actually the laptop they use now is a dell and its dead now thats why im replacing it lol also if the dell is the better machine why is he charging more for the toshiba because i googled a little info and the dell does seem to have better specs

which one has the better specs? im looking for laptop for my kids the one i gave them they have thoroughly torn up lol
