If law firms starts to adopt payments with bitcoin, it would off course help in the legalization of bitcoin because lawyers in their ethics and conduct , frawns at whatever that is not legimate.

Lawyers have been known to pioneer so many land mark judgements that were not hitherto enshrined in the constitution. They have upheld so many rights that have been classified as new generation rights and I think the right to hold and use digital currency for those who can operate on it would be one area lawyers would catch-in on.

Tax evasion and drug trafficking is been in circulation for decades or centuries in exaggerating manners to describe it. Bitcoin existence and those two are not co-related, so it means wether cryptocurrency is available or not this criminal activities won’t stop and to use it as a bad imaging for bitcoin again and again won’t be effective as it is totally absurd. Adaptation and Legalisation is important to take it to the next level and any regulation is welcome only if it is fair and square to government and the crypto community.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
It's completely normal. They are following the money. It's a new market with a lot of scams and tax evading going on and a lot of new, young millionaires. Older generation will find this area unfamiliar so it's an opportunity for young lawyers to earn some money and make a name for themselves.
Is it good? I'd say yes. At some point we may have a run in with the law and need them.

The article merely mentioned law firms accepting BTC, but not if they will be taking on cases involving it. The article's contents don't seem that related to legalisation/regulation of BTC as a whole.

It will be implemented in our daily lives in a better way, not sure about legalization, the best thing about cryptocurrencies is that they are decentralized. When it comes to abuse of the system - there have always been and there will always be abusers. There will be a way to put a stop to the abuse, I have no doubt. Things are unfolding very fast  Smiley

Upon reading this article - http://bitcoinist.com/lawyers-moving-into-the-bitcoin-space/ I had some thoughts. The future of crypto is dark - some are saying that it'll be legalised, some - that it won't. In my opinion, legalisation is the key for all the bitcoin lovers to prosper. But, on the other hand, bitcoin create immense opportunities for tax evasion, not to mention drug dealers. So, what are your thoughts on this? Will it be legalised? How it'll be controlled? How will the tax system adapt to it? I'd really like to hear your opinions.
