These are not reasonable expectations, you should not expect them to go up because of what they are but because of how they move forward. If you think layer1s will do fine just because of they are layer ones then you are going to be upset. In the end it's a tough business to invest into altcoins and obviously it's going to take some time to figure it out, I think it should be important to make it happen.

I think it should be realized a bit more carefully and you should be important to make it work one way or another. I get that it's going to be something that would be changing in the end, and you are not going to end up with anything that would change anything for the long term and it should be careful to do it.

Q Blockchain, Lamina1, Mantle, Taiko... For a longer list, check out zealy dot io, there are a lot of projects there.
Mantle network and  Taiko network are Layer 2 projects.  Also, Mantle Network conducted a sale and gave 200 MNT per person.  Taiko is still in the testnet phase. But the problem is since taiko is a layer 2, they will target the mainnet users. I am doing the Lamina 1(Layer 1) testnet as well.  Do you have more details regarding Q Blockchain?

I have done Venom testnet out of mentioned ones and have heard about almost all of them. Regarding Namada, they might do an airdrop to $Osmo holders/stakers/LPers, proposal was posted on Osmosis gov [1].

I'm only familiar with 5irechain from the list you shared here. I heard some of them but didn't really pay attention. I've never even heard of most of them.
The problem is there are a lot of similar type of projects. It must have an important feature that distinguishes it from others. If we just look at it as a pump & dump, some of these projects can do good, but I'm not sure how many of them will survive in the long run.

^  It's not that...  By all means, go grind and get the airdrop.  It's just some of these people in crypto tell you that 'onchain activity and TVL is increasing in so and so blockchain or L2' trying to basically scam you into thinking that all the 'growth' is organic when it's really not.  Let's just be honest and tell people what it really is.

Careful in thinking that zkSync is getting any real attention.  Lol.  As we already know, their 'users' are just these people who do all their transactions everyday to get their chances up to get an airdrop.  Grin  They're not real users who care about the coin or the project.  The minute they get their airdrop, they'll just sell them and move on to another project to  try to get another airdrop.  Cheesy  Funny how it works...

That's exactly how it works. The team creates a hype around the project, traders try to fulfill all the requirements for receiving airdrop, and after receiving it, they leave in search of a new blockchain, which may also reward its early users. Nevertheless, it would be wrong to miss such a potential opportunity to get an airdrop.

Amongst all L1 new projects you mentioned I only heard some of them which i believe will prove best after release. Quai network recently taken snapshot of all points earned by users at 1:1 token Airdrop rate and now Galxe compaigns has been launched before mainnet release in next month. This project is looking good but i think like SEI Quai will also be failed to launch something new.
Shardeum is only project I think will be best one and will surprise the crypto community. I have joined many testnet in shardeum network. many big projects are waiting to be implemented in Shardeum network but mainnet is still not released.

I will prefer new Layer 2 projects over L1 because of high volume and transaction. Arbitrum total transaction was record high and now Zksync is making hype. No any project in L1 is strong and long term as arbitrum, optimism.

As for pure L1's, I think some of the not so old ones like SOL could make a come back.

...I am trying to find the layer 1 projects for those who have not launched a coin. Then I can do the testnet missions and earn a decent amount of tokens.

There were only a few projects that rewarded their testers for completing tasks in the test network. Therefore, you should be prepared that the airdrop for early users will be distributed based on the results of work in the main network and if you decide to continue your work, you will be forced to spend real money.
unfortunately nowadays as I've seen these testnet tasks aren't really worth the time spent, just see last airdrop that was held is sei, for a whole year task in their testnet you are just getting some measly dollar and some of them even not eligible, these testing tasks aren't worth it anymore considering the participants right now are sky rocketing meanwhile the allocated rewards are the same.
i'd recommend just follow retroactive instead, its okay spending some money for the gas, because sometimes we got reimbursement for the gas also
we might have potential of eligible in the retroactive where the participants are significantly reduced.

Any more obscure L1s you mean ? Because i am sure there's a reason why you picked the one no one has even heard of? Also only one i googled didn't even have a marketcap indexer yet.

Answer to your question: Yes, you missed every serious L1 out there. I am going to google your list later on as i am interested about new ones, but maybe you should have put more effort and include some data and insight in this post. Now it's just a generic list of random L1s out there.

Don't take anything for granted.  Just put them in a watchlist somewhere and take a look at them again under more bullish market conditions.  You'd be surprised how many of these obscure projects go trend up really high from nothing.  Trust me...  I've missed out on a lot of value at a time when I preferred to purely invest in 'good projects', with XMR being my biggest bag during the 2017 bull market.  I made a little something but it was the laggard.
Woah, it's rare seeing a legendary member saying something nice about altcoins, most people I've seen trash talk about altcoins, I've heard about few altcoins on the list and in fact I am waiting for few to launch their tokens maybe I will invest if the price is good enough.

OP I am in on Celestia, Quai Network and Venom, you should look into SEI, already listed on Binance, I believe these projects will do very well in the next bull market, do not sleep on them and invest only what you can afford to lose.

I don't know how layer 2 projects will perform, but I am waiting to mix Zksync and Layerzero to the list, good luck.

Arbitrum is quite known so it's surprising he didn't mention it. Among them however, they could turn out scam one day. Too many L1 projects in crypto, it would be a wonder if the ones he mentioned are going to have success in the chosen path. A few years ago, there were also L1 claiming to be ETH killers, now they can't be found in the top 20 in the CMC.

If there is one L1 project that you even trusted among those lists, you better have at least 10 billion tokens of it. Sell them whenever the price touches $0.01. You may not find that token bounce again so enjoy the profit.

Yes. I am doing the main net airdrops as well. but you need real funds for that. Most of the layer 2 projects target the mainnet users. Not the testnet users. If you don't have money, a better option is to do the testnets of layer one projects. I am using the below projects for the mainnet airdrops.

Eg :
1. Layerzero(Not the layer 2 project)
2. Zksync (Layer 2)
3. Starknet (Layer 2)

What do you guys think about AMB?  It's one of the more obscure L1's but it's listed in Binance and could even be one of their launch pad projects.  Haven't done any deep research yet.  Just noticed it's breaking out of the previous range.  And seeing how more volatile it is, it could do for a nice quick trade.  NFA.

Here's the Coin Gecko page...

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/airdao

It's a micro cap at around 11.9m USD market cap and having around 17m USD in volume for the last 24 hours.  Not bad metrics imho.

are you sure you're just gonna be doing the testnet and thats it because as far as I know most of the project that give rewards with testnet doesn't really turns out to be that good.
its always retroactive ones that giving good rewards because lesser participants.
but I guess you have different purpose maybe you are eager to find some layer 1 project at their initial phase and willing to invest in it.

honestly i just don't think any of them gonna gain success as good as sui, it think you should wait for other project thats upcoming in the future to be frank.

I am not sure if you are serious or not but in case you were, starting from the top:

Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Cardano, Solana, Polkadot ,Toncoin, Avalanchem Cosmos Hub, Hedera, Kaspa, Algorand, MultiversX, Tezos, Flow and there are ton of obscure ones that will never make it. In fact All the announcements in altcoin announcements, are supposed to be L1. And they used to be, but these days people don't know the difference of coins and tokens so they get mixed up.

But if you are focusing on testnets, that explains why your list has unfamiliar names. I am still browsing your list, it has some interesting projects so thanks for it. It would have been nearly impossible me to find them on my own, before any of those gained momentum.

it seemed he's preparing for the next bullrun, the thing that we have known so far is that the bullrun also bring change towards the market position.
some coin might just fall down in term of ranks while the newer deployed ones are gaining their momentum, I guess this is why he brings up so much new names.
after all, the coin that rise up massively in bullrun sometimes coming from new coins that have no popularity, no fame, and usually unknown name and then suddenly because of their good product they build their way up to the top.
I personally have known some of the project mentioned prominently venom that caused some uproar among the airdrop community.

Among the list, I am only familiar with Venom. Because Venom Foundation is quite a huge project which is licensed under the Abu Dhabi market.

But right now, with Layer-2 networks starting to become famous in the market they starting to dominate Decentralized Finance (DeFi), and the volume and users on layer-1 networks are not that so huge anymore. The only last layer-1 network I remember that really made a huge run is Solana, but after all, they are all now overtaken by layer-2 networks.
Yes. venom has a huge potential. but the problem is the vesting period. They are allocated 22% for the community with the 90-month linear vesting. So it will not unlock 100% at the TGE. Also the Layer 2 projects are only for the mainnet users. L2 projects not targeting the testnet users.

Do you know about any other layer 1 projects?  I am trying to find those projects due to testnet rewards. Because When the layer one project launches a mainnet, there will be a launching token for the gas fees as well. If we complete the testnet tasks, we can earn a decent amount of tokens as well. I received tokens from the following layer 1 projects earlier.
