Due to earlier experiences with bad translations, we will have at least 2 translators for each language, to do cross-checking.

I can translate it into Swedish if you want

I’m not applying, but as someone who has translated lots of non-fiction texts for a living, I’m cautioning you on your intentions to ‘cross check’. Translation is not a deterministic process; the same source text can yield any number of acceptable or even excellent translations. The industry standard process for translation quality control is to send the translation to an independent editor for checking.

If you’d like to read up on best practices for buying translations, I recommend the ATA tutorial at https://www.atanet.org/publications/Getting_it_right.pdf.

If both translations are identical they have probably used google translate... Wink
However it could still make some sense to use two translators because you can then ask the other what he thinks about the other persons text.
