This is the announcement of a League Of Legends tournament which is a 1vs1 (Is case we get a lot of people involved we [me and Velvet78] will take in consideration the possibility to make even a 3vs3 and a 5vs5 tournament during the same time when the 1vs1 tournament will take place

Current Prize
100.000 1337 (BTC Value: 0.015)

On this tournament who is involved and isn't can of course bet or pay for some special services, those special services can help one of the two summoner or put he on difficulty, in the case somebody will actually pay for the services the prize pot will increase of 15% of the 1337 used for the payment, while 75% and 10% will be sent to a burning address and my personal address (which will maybe end up in the Prize pot, more details once we reach the finals), all the matches will be recorded and in less of one week uploaded to a youtube channel which will be linked later on (Because maybe i will open a dedicated channel instead of using my personal one)

The tournament will start on March 1st 2016 and we will allow people to get inside the tournament until March 3nd 2016, giving them other 48 hours of time to decide while in the meanwhile the first matches will start.

It will be a two stages tournament, it will start with a Group stage where all the participants will be divided in groups of 4 and only 2 can get into the second and final stage which will be a double elimination, with that we can allow people that had a bad game once a try to recover from the accident

Q & A

On which server will be the tournament?
The tournament will take place in the EuW server

How i can join the tournament?
Just by sending a PM (here on even on LoL) to me, there will be no problems if you send it even to Velvet78 but i have the access to the challonge account where there is the whole thing so is suggested to PM me

We need to be Level 30 to join the tournament?
No, at the end i don't think that the level can actually make any kind of change (On another tournament i hosted, a no level 30 ended up to the finals against a level 30 summoner, everybody is free to think what they want)

We have to pay something to join the tournament?
No, there isn't any kind of payment to be done to get inside the tournament

When we will alerted about when we had to play?
A post (Which will be quoted on the second general post of the thread) will have the dates of the matches

Which timezone we need to consider the times of the matches?
You all have to consider the timeline of Rome (A simple google search can help to see which timezone is)

On day X i can't play because reason Y, it can be a problem?
Not really, just PM me with the reason why you can't join and after that specific block of games will be done i will write on the planner a possible date, but for some reason i will allow only 3 changes of date at the end of the third any other change can be accepted behind a little payment (This is just to not allow people to decide when they want to play)

Why in the challonge link i can see both your nick and the 1337 coin manager nick?
Don't be scarried by that, is just because for me will be funny and the 1337 coin manager nick was added just as placeholder (if he will not join at the end, i noticed that he never played it while i'm level 18)

P.s. If somebody think that this is the wrong section for such a thread, i will quote below what Hilariousandco told to Velvet78 when he asked for which board of the forum we could post such a thing

hi there,

i want to organize some ladder tournaments for 1337 and was wondering in which sections it would be best to post. people will be able to place bets on players and teams etc so maybe i could post it in the gambling section?

i also want to get the word out to the gamers on here so i was thinking of posting it in the off-topic section and maybe also the service announcement section.

please advise me if that isnt against the rules.

T.I.A

P.S: Do you play League of Legends by any chance? Would be nice to have you involved Smiley

Games and rounds most likely if it's going to be forum based. Posting it in off topic and service announcements would be seen as spam.
