i'm in seattle.

i get 1.1 btc. you pay for escrow and 2x shipping? shipping to escrow, and from escrow to yourself.

Escrow doesn't work that way. Whoever you use for escrow gets the bitcoin transferred to them, when they confirm receipt, you mail out item. Buyer then confirms receipt and escrow releases funds to you.

It is just a different form of escrow.

If those are the terms he wants in the sale/auction of his coin, then it is what it is.

looks like i have to open this Sad

can anyone tell me how to redeem it without coinbase?  thanks in advance.

If you have to go this way, you can use blockchain.info to import for free https://blockchain.info/wallet. Just don't sweep the wallet, import the key into your wallet to avoid a transaction fee.

Don't open that. I'll do 1.1BTC w/escrow shipped to USA. You are in the Philippines right? What does shipping cost with tracking to USA?

1.25 and buyer pays for escrow.

1.1 no escrow.

Those are min bids.

Shipping plus time to deal w escrow plus its an ounce if silver. That's the reason for markup difference. I could just open it and make up the .1 btc in equity lost. So must be .25 to escrow.

Thanks.

Not usual at all .... you have the potential for 2 auctions running for the same item. 1 with escrow, 1 without.

If buyer is paying for the escrow costs, I struggle to understand the uplift. But hey, its your party.

Either way, I still would need pics, I can then decide based on coin conditions, and the terms of the auction if I will bid

Can you also confirm that this is funded (at source by Smoothie) with 1BTC

This coin is funded.

All of my coins sold prior to March 1st, 2014 are funded.

I'll let the OP decide to post the actual address of the coin on the forum should he choose to.

Sure ill pm him. Not sure i can get a response in time, but bid anyways. And i wont consider it binding unless he can respond. Also ill put up pics later, consider your bids non binding as well if the coin isnt mint. It is. Still going to end auction at the time i said. And just open coin if no bids.

The way ive sold in the past here is to send coin to escrow as well as buyer sending btc. Safer for seller. So its gonna cost a little extra for 2x shipping plus escrows fee is gonna be slightly more than standard.

Thanks for comments, hope that clears it up

i am not using escrow for this. i have sold well over 10k worth of physical bitcoins on this forum which includes a 10btc casascius coin, and a bunch of .5/1btc coins. i won't send first. don't ask. i can put a picture up if there is request for it. comes with leather case, capsule, coa. all mint condition.

Pics please, but also would need escrow (happy to pay the cost of this). I cant see any trust rating for you that would justify no escrow (sorry) - unless there are others that can vouch for you that I know / trust myself ?
