Hi guys,

Sorry I can't reply to PMs, I have a 2 a day limit.

I got quite a lot of offers and I am thinking of selling them here to the highest bidder.

As for the "bump", I just tried taking another photo in a different light. You can see the round shadow a bit off center - it's not very strong, but I suppose that's how it is with the others too of that batch.

Best is to do the auction here and let the highest bidder win..

I am interested as well.  Perhaps an auction, if you are not comfortable organizing yourself you can use an escrow such as minerjones.

Seems like there is a lot of interest (myself included). Probably best to host an auction for them on here Smiley

Probably the best bet in this case. You've also generated a good buzz already so your on the right track. Pretty sure most of the people in this thread could point you to a standard auction template seeing as you are new. I remember seeing one floating around but can't find it.

Depends if you want more value than the loaded value sell here.  These will definately sell over peel value.  Use an escrow here on site and list and auction at face value.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies and messages (I have limited PMs). I will take some pictures and upload them in a bit.

Good point that with option 3 I would still end up with another conversion from LTC to BTC to fiat, so that would probably mean having to pay tax too :/

I'm based in Berlin, Germany. So the best would be to meet in person, the second best a pp transaction I guess.

Verified Bernie Bro - Feel The Bern!
Hi guys,

I'm a newbie, so apologies in advance for everything... Smiley

I have a question and I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some advice – I bought a pair of physical Litecoins from Smoothie in 2013, from the first batch of 1000 with the "bump" and the missing serial number, each one is still funded with 10 LTC and in great condition, barely touched and with two certificates.

Now I'm strapped for cash unfortunately and might have to sell them – and I don't really know which is the best option.

1. I sell them on ebay as they are, but it seems risky as I don't know what I can expect for it. I saw in past auctions sometimes they went for even less than the total LTC value.

2. I sell them here on the forum, which causes me the problem that I will be paid in crypto and not cash and in my country I have to leave  cryptocurrencies untouched for at least 1 year after every trade, otherwise they'll take 20% tax off me.

3. I break the hologram and redeem them conventionally, which somehow feels wrong, but seems to me the best solution right now.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Plenty of good people here to help...

And option 2 and 3 seem the same, as you would end up with crypto and have to convert. Cheesy

3 is still technically a little easier for the OP I guess (no shipping or escrow etc etc).

If you need the fiat right away and can't find takers here than taking the hit on ebay might be the only option?

But ya would be a shame to see them peeled.

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
You should sell them here. I am sure there are people that are willing to pay in dirty fiat cash too. Never peel!

Upload photos to imgur.com and place your username and date next to coins as proof of ownership. Goodluck!
