I treated myself with a complete set and I've just received them.

They are really beautifully made. Heavier than I expected, feels like quite massive pieces of art once in hand.
The metal certificates are also nice pieces by themselves.

Wonderful Monero collectibles all around. Now I just need to build some nice wood/glass box to display them properly

A customer asked me a question that made me consider posting this.

The rainbow steel can be seen in different lights that give different outcomes.

Generally the angle, lighting, or combinations of light give DIFFERENT outcomes of how the steel piece looks.

Here is a simple example:

EXAMPLE 1:
First example has very little light and is at a specific angle to the light source which produces not much color.
Note - you can get some color in this instance if you hold the piece at an angle or view it at specific angles. Give it a try.




EXAMPLE 2:
Second example is just using natural sunlight. You can play with light sources and angles to get very different outcomes. From my personal experience the picture/colors never look identical from picture to picture under different circumstances (light, angle, combinations of light/shadow).





EXAMPLE 3:
This 3rd example is from an indoor photo OP under controlled light source/angle.




The general takeaway is that for rainbow steel it is all about the situational lighting/shadows/position of each the light source and the steel.

Couple of items:

1. A number of you have requested the dimensions of the entire full 9-coin comic cover artwork set of boxes to be able to create custom display cases. Here they are:

Overall width = 334mm
Overall Length = 449.5mm
Height/Thickness = 41.2mm


If you are creating custom display cases for the 9-coin set it may be worth noting that on your end there may be error-tolerances that could make the display case too small. Please account for this if you plan to create one.


2. Regarding shipping, a couple of the first batches of orders went out last week and the week prior. Orders that had some funding issues will be going out later this week or early next week. And lastly if you added to an existing order I should have info for funding of your additional coins to you sometime next week.

For coins that have metal certificates the turnaround time from funding to shipping is about 7-10 days in difference. For those without metal certificates it should ship within approximately 5-7 days after funding has been confirmed on Lealana's end. In some cases it may ship sooner.

"Ke Kaua Pilikino Pono'i" ~ The Privacy War

9-coin silver set. All 9 pieces form the cover of the upcoming issue #001 comic book release in 2022. The full color art depicted in the images above are the actual boxes that the coins come in (was trying to keep that a surprise but couldn’t help ourselves). The back of the boxes have a surprise for those who purchased.

BASIC STORYLINE PREMISE - Kizekra, a band of pro-privacy heroes, join forces to take on the "anti-privacy" regime.

The KIZEKRA comic book is comprised of commemorative and some imaginary versions of the Monero software in the form of privacy-centric super heroes. The names of celestial bodies and elements has formed a sort of tradition in the Monero community and its developers. With the naming convention of XMR software releases we have depicted individual characters to represent that version of the Monero code base. We have aimed to portray the privacy war that exists in our world today with these characters and comic book story line. Each character’s associated celestial body is also incorporated in varied methods (look closely).

Customers who purchased any amount of coins prior to January 1st, 2021 will receive a free comic book once the comic has been released. Also, customers who purchase a full 9-coin set at anytime, will automatically get the comic book for free. Any shipping/handling fees will be paid by the customer.

Denominations of all coins are the same amount in XMR as the actual atomic weight of the element or imaginary “element” that has been showcased on each respective metal design.
