I purchased some of the new Lealana coins Smoothie created and asked if he would be so kind as to provide the public addresses for these coins if he had them but he never responded to that request. :/
I wish there was someway to track these addresses down. Such a shame to think they are lost forever.
Unfortunately, the only way is from the very original buyer. Smoothie will not answer or reply to these types of requests as when they were sold, they were sold based on privacy. People who re-sell items like this either might have literally no idea and just discard the list, who knows, but finding that "guy" who may or may not even have the PGP-signed list anymore... Well... After some time, I'd just consider them lost forever, but regardless, they still have value, so hodl on...
Thank you for the response. It makes sense that these were sold based on privacy but the original buyer never funded the coins which is why the addresses do not show up on the blockchain? So, I don't understand why it would be an issue to provide them since only the holder/owner can peel the back to redeem them.
I did purchase these coins as collectibles and being naive I didn't realize the addresses would be unrecoverable. I figured since they weren't funded smoothie wouldn't have an issue providing the them. But, I love the coins as collectibles and am very happy to own a couple pieces of Bitcoin history either way. I am just a completist and it kills me I don't have the addresses too. LoL
I appreciate you taking time to respond though.
