very easy to trade, simply by buying when the price of a coin down, and sell when it rises. it is the basic terms that must be mastered before you trade. Besides, very many outstanding tutorials on youtube, you just need to see it, and practice it.

Just like you, I am also a newbie in trading , 2 weeks to be exact. I would suggest you to watch actual trading tutorial videos posted from Youtube. Just look for Trevon James, Jerry Banfield and LumbridgeCity. They are good traders with lots of experience. Subscribed to them.

I started with Poloniex for 5usd, and grew to 8usd worth of bitcoin. It is very addicting. So I funded it with more money. Dont be discouraged if you lost some money. It's a part of the game. Just be careful with trading. Dont put all your money from a single coin. Always research, look for high volume and trending coins.

High volume coins means a lot of traders invested to that coin. My 2 cents dude.

Thank you guys!
I tried to search google before opening this thread, but it gave me "forex trading" as results. I wasn't sure if that is the way I have to go.
Should I study/read about trading, the patterns and the trading philosophy in forex then apply it to crypto exchange?

Trading is always unpredictable job, those who can risk their money can easily make money through trading. Trading is typical job where we cannot able to exact prices of the coin we are going to buy. There are many videos and articles about trading, you need to learn basic steps how to start a trading.

learning trading can be done even for new people as long as they want to learn and read the tutorial in many sites, after that you can practice to trade, don't trade with big amount first time, make with small amount until you familiar and you have a good result. from this, if you are understand the basic, then you can raise the amount with medium amount that you can spend, do it over and over until you feel you can do with easy and the rest its up to you to make big amount to trade or prefer with small or medium amount.
Indeed. besides, they have also learn how to be patient and how to control their feelings while trading. never lose the control because it will make you become a panic seller or a panic buyer. Learn trading step to step, do not jump to other part if you do not finish the previous one. And as Ethereumhunter says, you should only trade with small amount if you are still a newbie

The basics in trading is very simple, you can research that anytime using google, what valuable lessons you can get in this forum is based on the experience of the people and you can get advised from the experience trader. Your knowledge is just a theory until you applied it in practical and I tell it's a different game when you are doing it in actual already but along the way you can learn. Just continue to educate yourself while you continue your journey.

Hey guys!

I'm new here and I would like to start learning how to trade btc/fiat or btc/altcoins.
I have no previous knowledge, so if you could help me out some tips or some link to learn from, I would be grateful.
I will suggest that you can invest a very little money from trading site like c-cex and then in first week know how trading works and then if you know how trading works start investing all or large part of your money, and then start the trading. Or do some research first on how trading works. just remember trade with legit coins only and then buy low sell high is the key to have a profit.

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. You can either trade in bitcoins against value of US dollars or invest in an altcoin and trade which most of them prefer today. For investing in an altcoin, you can even start trading by investing 0.01 btc.Altcoin trading is highly volatile, but could yield huge profits.Always choose a altcoin which is in the market for atleast 2 years. There is huge pump and dump min altcoins as the marketcap is low. So big whales can easily manipulate the price. Dont get panic in trading as many new traders have lost a lot due to panic selling.Read the ANN thread of altcoin carefully before investing. Know who is its founder, what is its marketcap and then invest.

Welcome on board dzsinz3, I can assure you that you can learn a lot from this forum if you spend considerable time for reading posts. Now coming back to your topic, I would suggest that invest your $10 worth of time before investing $1 of money. It means doing deep research before taking any investment or trading decision. Don't trust your emotions, trust your research. The best way to learn to trade is by actually doing some trades. Start with a smaller amount and more frequency. Initially, don't expect huge profits and defend your capital with little profits and lesser risk and increase it risk level over the period of time. Don't worry if you lose your money because you will have experience of trading which will help you in your next trades.

When i was new to this btc/usd and bitcoin/altcoin trading, i learned many techniques from youtube. There are many videos where many people have given suggestion through youtube videos. Atleast you will learn some techniques from it but it won't give you complete techniques how to trade. You will get only basic idea about trading.

There is a lot of stuff on youtube. My advice is to start with small values and increase as you gain experience (in the beginning you can win some and find it easy, it is not, be prepared to lose). And keep in mind that news items greatly affect the value of crypto-coins, so fundamental analysis is very important.

Register an account in yobit.net deposit a few bucks in bitcoin and try to check altcoin's history and forum threads before blindly buying them.
C-cex.com/Cryptopia.co.nz are your other options as alternatives to yobit. coinmarketcap.com also is a good indicator to see which coins are on top.

So far I don't know of any service that is worth paying. However, I have already had good results in trading using sources of information that anyone willing to learn could access. Many of the information I got came from websites like reddit, bitcointalk, slack channels, among other sources... but I think that makes things riskier. If you do not have much experience, it may be advisable to look for a good service or professionals that can guide you.

Basically, he said everything. Also maybe next time you should just use the search button on top of the forums or using the google search feature. It will be a lot easier for all of us. Just be careful, altcoin trading is quite different from trading stocks or forex. There are concepts you can use in both trading and forex on altcoin trading but it will not be the same.

Successful, trading are for the skillful and professional. Trading both in altcoin/bitcoin, bitcoin/ usd and arbitrage are very risky and you need skills to succeed in it. I will advice you to forget all those selling software and signal as they will mislead you. Kindly open account with any of the exchangers that accepts bitcoin and try to develop your skills. If you don't have bitcoin you can open account with samplefx, fxopen and other forex site that accepts bitcoin and altcoin then download free metatrader software and demo trade. Again trading is very risky and you can only succeed if you are skillful in it.
