I never decided to check out prime coin. Is it CPU only? and is it hard to mine?
Hey all, I'm completely new to all of this a week ago, trying to make a couple of bucks if at all possible but I'm just enjoying this as a hobby either way.
I'm currently most interested in primecoin, I think. I managed to set up a server to mine for me (slowly) but I don't think it will be very profitable.
My chief priority now is figuring out how to tune the primecoin high performance client to get my CPU to 1 chain per day or more. With my i7 3770 and the information in the following link, it seems I should be able to do this... but I have been so far unsuccessful.
