wtf has this clothing to do with hardware wallet or bitcoin?
Who would ever wear or buy their sweater or t-shirt without a single mention of btc or crypto?
Not me for sure.
Pure waste of money/bitcoins

I thought there is a discount promo again launched when you posted OP. But its a bundle of NanoX and cool tshirt and sweater. In fairness the design is simple and elegant. But I am not sure if this will take a hit on many customers. There are lots of good brand for clothing and I must say, I will pass on this offer. Maybe Ledger wanted to try out some products aside from their usual gig but I didnt expect it to be like this. Im sure only few from my country will be interested on these new items.

Anyway just sort of seasonal clothing I guess. Surely this will be limited edition ( if only few avail  Grin)

When I saw the thread title, I immediately thought of this.

Something to protect your Nano X or something. Lol. Anyways, I could wear that but most of the people that would see me won't understand it though. I guess I'm safe? And with what's going on right now, there's not a lot of people going out.

I don’t know if this is a difference in prices but deals look cheaper than that:

one Ledger Nano X and one Resilience Sweater ---------> 205.67 ($61 for Sweatshirt)
one Ledger Nano X and one Resilience T-shirt -----------> 172.43 ($28 for t-shirt)

Of course you will get sweater/t-shirt cheaper if you buy them in bundle pack with Nano X, but for those who already have a Nano X like me these prices are quite high. I bought the Nano X at last Black Friday with a 35% discount, it only cost me $90, almost same price as sweater alone Roll Eyes

...but the strange thing is that we did not get any features as a secret pocket to hide the device, a way to hide the private key, or even to a QR code to display the public key.

On the contrary, if you look at OP (picture on the right) you can see that there is a secret pocket, which is also explained on the link if you visit Ledger site. I don't understand how you managed to miss it?

They could have taken another approach to gain more visibility. They could have partnered with Walmart in the US or Aldi in Europe and sold their clothes through their stores. More people would see the brand. Doing it from their site limits the deals exclusively for crypto and hardware wallet users.

Ledger has decided to expand its offer a bit, so it is currently offering in a limited edition of sweater ($82.92) and t-shirt ($44) with an inscription on the chest "resilience by design", and by what may be seen in the pictures with the inscription on the sleeves
I don’t know if this is a difference in prices but deals look cheaper than that:

Sweatshirt ---> $83.10
t-shirt ----> $44.67
Ledger Nano X ------> $144.39
one Ledger Nano X and one Resilience Sweater ---------> 205.67 ($61 for Sweatshirt)
one Ledger Nano X and one Resilience T-shirt -----------> 172.43 ($28 for t-shirt)

I think that you might prefer to buy them both, but the strange thing is that we did not get any features as a secret pocket to hide the device, a way to hide the private key, or even to a QR code to display the public key.

Maybe things will change in the future...

Well, the bundles are really attractive. I like the spring pack, it is like offering around 40% off on the sweater. Who knows, this might be the final factor for someone to finally grab a safe vault for himself/herself. Cheesy

A minimalist design with a heavier statement could have been better. Anyway, it does not appear much of a marketing to me because there is nothing in those apparels that bears the brand name.

As to possibly unnecessarily attracting trouble with the designs, that to me is unlikely. A Bitcoin Logo sticker on a Mac is more likely to do that. Well, there must be a certain price to pay for us being our own banks. We're not armored cars, you know. Cheesy

I must admit that I did not even expect different answers, there are very few people who publicly want to identify as someone who owns BTC. This is quite logical considering that no one wants to become a potential target (and we know that some have paid for their carelessness with their lives).

On the other hand, it is understandable that Ledger wants to advertise in as many ways as possible, but this is not the smartest move in that direction. Maybe someone will still buy it, at least for the upper part of pajamas Smiley

I would give them credit for trying something new, albeit not an idea that everyone agrees on.

$44 for simple T-shirt and $83 for sweater - I think it's theft. I understand that clothes of well known brands have such price. But c'mon paying so much for clothes which doesn't looks special at all - I will skip this offer. After all, you have no idea what quality clothes you will get for this price.
About privacy, I'm not sure that these clothes identify that you're crypto user who have Ledger wallet full of Bitcoins. Resilience in design - probably 99% of people have no clue where from this phrase comes. And "not your keys - not your coins" is located in not most visible place. I think it would be pretty much same like to buy T-shirt with Bitcoin logo from second hand shop - I just would spend much less Cheesy.

Wearing a cloth like this is the same as "I have a hardware wallet full of money in my house" lol it is dangerous in a place like brazil
Lol, I can imagine--and it's not only Brazil where it would be a problem either.

I did see the clothing offering a few days back and I wasn't impressed at all with the design.  It's just kind of plain white text on a black background, like you're wearing a computer screen on your chest.  If they'd jazzed it up with colors and whatnot, I might be interested in wearing something Ledger-related, but what they've produced is just flat-out boring to me.

As long as they stick to doing hardware wallets the right way, Ledger will be fine.  They've got no problems in that area so far.

Who would browse and shop for clothes of Ledger unless he or she is a crypto user. Grin
Anyone who has come in contact with Bitcoin have heard of "not your keys, not your coins". I see this as an unnecessary way of putting a tag on yourself that says I own Bitcoin, follow me home.

Yes, I think the same.

There are also bundles offers that include Summer Resilience Pack (t-shirt+Nano X - $158), and Spring Resilience Pack (crypto sweater + Nano X - $191).

Since people find it difficult to decide to buy a hardware wallet, this offer is unlikely to attract a large number of customers who would pay almost $50 just for a t-shirt. I would also highlight the issue of privacy here, although the company logo is not visible on the products - but Ledger starts from the idea that this is the way to "express your visionary mind to the world.".

As for prices, I did a conversion from my local currency (shown by Ledger), so they may vary for different countries.
