Oh, I thought this problem was related to the GAP limit and as you said, the solution method was for Chrome App.

When using P2PKH with ledger live, you only get P2PKH addresses.
When using P2WPKH nested in P2SH, you only get those nested P2SH addresses.

There is no bug or similar where you get a legacy address in a nested segwit wallet in ledger live (or vice versa).

So your proposal is highly unlikely to work and shouldn't be tried by OP without confirming that he was using a different type of address than usual.

I do not believe that this problem is still solved because many of the above solutions will most likely not work.

I have experienced this kind of problem before and exactly the solution to this problem is as follows; some addresses use a different derivation path if you selected your deposit address from signable addresses, not to an address that Ledger automatically provides. For this reason, you should select BIP44, BIP49 or BIP84 according to your address type on BIP39 website and adjust different account and external/internal values until you find your deposit address (firstly, change the external/internal values). I recommend you to look at at least 1000 rows for each different value, this is challenging but you will get results. Then you can get your BTCs by importing the private key into Electrum.

Can you confirm that the address indeed is part of your nano s ?
Using electrum would help here quite a bit. Just set electrum up as interface for your nano s (do not enter your mnemonic code).
Then we can easily check whether the address you used to withdraw is from your ledger with a simple command.

Unfortunately ledger live is pretty limited in its functionality.

But if you can confirm that the address you saw on the ledger screen is the same you used on kraken, you didn't lose your BTC.
It is probably just a connection/display issue with ledger live and/or their server.

Have you done what NeuroticFish suggested and checked the address you used on a block explorer? Does your transaction appear there as confirmed/unconfirmed or is the address empty?
Alternatively you can try https://blockchair.com/ or https://blockstream.info/

You can connect your Ledger wallet to Electrum. It offers a better user interface and you will be able to see the exact addresses that hold Bitcoin. You don't need to enter your seed or anything.
Follow this guide if you have not used Electrum before and make sure you download it from the official site only and verify the signatures before installing and using it.

yes, there was a problem of syncronization and guided by the Ledger Live support I've already done al the steps (cleared the cash, unistalled and reinstalled the Ledger Live sw) but no results...

The Kraken support confirmed to me that the transaction is completed and the address is the correct one my Nano S gave me.

The coins would appear in Ledger Live as unconfirmed, though. It's most likely a synchronization issue since OP claims to have been really cautious about double-checking the address.

If you know for sure the receiving address and you know for sure it's yours, then it's easy to check:

Let's try two different things for now. Open Ledger Live settings (top-right corner), go to 'Help' tab and select 'Clear cache'. Give your wallet a moment to resynchronize with Ledger's servers. If it doesn't work then maybe there is something wrong with your accounts. Did you create a new account for this transaction or did you use an existing one?

Hello,
I've recently withdrawn some 0.000xxx bitcoin from my Kraken exchange account into my Ledger Nano S wallet following exactly the procedures (I've also doule checked twice the address the wallet gave me where to send the btc)
but I am missing that amount from my wallet balance and I have no idea how to manage this issue and where to recover my bitcoin from.
Plugging in the address into an explorer I can see the transaction but I don't know how to read it.
Is there any tutorial I can find?
Is there any way to check my real balance on the blockchain?
What did I do wrong?
Are my btc lost???

It is the third time I've done a withdraw transaction into my Ledger Nano S wallet and everything went fine with the first two times.

Please help
