What about running a contest on Twitter/Facebook? It will give you the opportunity to build your social profiles and create your community. Instead of collecting emails, that will be useless for your business. I mean you will have no use of people's emails, not even to send a newsletter from time to time as people don't give a f**k about it.

I want to join the giveaway on that hardware wallet since I have trauma with freewallet.org ethereum wallet and it made me denied access since I've logout and restart the app.

When the giveaway will start and how to register. I want to buy but I do not know where I should buy. I hope this is a fair giveaway and good luck with my co-participants.

I would do something pretty simple, just do a contest on twitter and but the contestants through randompicker.
Publish the results afterwards, so people can see that the contest was conducted in a legitimate way.

I'm sure there are similar services as randompicker.com

i'd also think that letting the users submit their email and some sort of tiebreaker question on your site would be the best method to do a giveaway (don't know if that't the correct translation tough).

For example: in the submit form, also ask the exact size of the block that is mined directly after the giveaway has ended, then give the ledgers to the two people that were closest to this size (or something like that... you can do the same with the diff, hashrate, blockhash,...). This way it's provably fair Smiley

Nice product giveaway. IMO social media promotion is good or signature campaign (to receive the Ledger Nano S) for a week or 2 in bitcointalk since everyone here can be your target audiences.

Whatever you do it will be important to have some Ledgers in stock.
I know this is actually tricky - but everybody who looks for a Ledger would just leave the website and gives another shop a try if the ledger is not on stock.

You can create the giveaway on your site and require people to enter their email to sign up.
That way you're able to build a large email database and have many users sign up to your newsletter to expand your client reach.
You can advertise the giveaway on social media too.

Instead of the wallet giveaway  could you replace it with btc prizes  . Signature campaigns , Twitter campaigns , facebook campaigns  for driving hits to your website shop  , etc .

Hey everyone!

I am a cofounder of Coinfort (https://coinfort.co/), an authorized distributor for Ledger (refer to their website for verification).

To help promote our website, we are looking into doing a giveaway for a few Ledger Nano S wallets. Any ideas on how to go about doing the giveaway? Should we collect emails, or issue like a certain number of 'ticket entries' based on certain criteria.

We are sold out on our website, but have allocated a small amount of inventory in case shipments get lost in mail, stolen, etc. We are looking to give away 2-3 wallets.

Any/all ideas are much appreciated!

Respetfully,
Chris T.

The ultimate goal of the giveaway is to promote your site, isn't it? Instead of giving away a ledger nano to someone, who might not even need it or sell it afterwards, why don't you use the money in a constructive way to promote your website in this forum, like a signature campaign, social media bounty programme, etc.? In this way, there will be many who will be benefited and your website will become popular by the collective effort.

To answer your question, and forgot to mention it in my post, we have sold out, but have a few left over in case of lost in mail shipments and other reasons. We are looking to give away about 2-3 wallets!

Instead of a Ledger Nano S as a giveaway you could opt for a temporarily discount for your shop.

BTW: Strange you do not have any Ledger Nano S in stock, according to your website.
