So what will happen when I send to the first address again instead of using the new one?
You will still receive your coins. All your old addresses can be reused as many times as you want and when you want.

Perfect! Thanks a lot!!

This is perfectly normal behaviour for Deterministic wallets... They generate new addresses for each transaction to help prevent address reuse.

Your old addresses still remain valid... So, any coins sent to old addresses will still be received.

Well, sounds legit... would try it with another small amount, but the exchange-fees (equal to 5€ atm) hurt for doing so... Wink

Hi community,

Is it normal thing that I will receive a new DASH-address for every new transaction?

Why I ask: I just created an DASH-App on my Nano S and now want to send my DASH from the exchange to the Nano S.

So what I did so far:
- downloading the Nano S-Dash- APP
- push "receive"
- copy & paste the address "XsK................................................................"
- sent a small amount from the exchange to this address
- short time the amount did appear in my Nano-S-Dash- APP

So far, so good.
Now I wanted to send the bigger amount the same way, so I did it the same way:
- push "receive"

But now a different address "XpS................................................................" appears
