Bluecoin12, what was the result of your attempts to contact support?

See how the story of another user of bitcointalk ended after interacting with Ledger's support. Whatever problems the company has in other areas, but the support department does its job well. Of course, users don't buy HWs in order to interact with support, but still, that is what it is, but nonetheless.

Just an update!

I was expecting Ledger would require me to send back the faulty device in return for a brand new product, but they have instead written me an email stating that they will send me a new one without requiring me to return the faulty one! To be honest, I'm quite surprised!

Bluecoin12, so how did you fix the shifted screen problem? Did you decide to replace the screen yourself or wait for the replacement by the manufacturer?

In conclusion, I can say that if someone has problems with the performance of Ledger's devices, then before creating a separate topic about this, then first read the info in this topic - Any vulnerabilities in changing OLED screen of Ledger Nano S? , and then immediately contact Ledger's support. The algorithm for solving your problems for the most part will be similar.

You say you contacted support a week ago? This is rather unusual, as some users here have claimed that Ledger has no problems with the support department and responds fairly quickly.
I created several fake support tickets testing out how quickly they take to respond and it only took a few hours each time.
Testing the responsiveness of Ledger Support
However, it's essential that each field is properly filled out. Especially the "What is your problem?" field. If you don't, I am not even sure the message gets sent. It it was sent correctly, you should get an automated reply with a ticker number. if you didn't get one, the message wasn't sent.

Ledger will reimburse you for your shipping expanses if you purchased the device from them or an official reseller. That's the information I got from them. There is no reason not to send the faulty device back. If you open it manually, you void the warranty as dkbit98 suggested.

Ledger Nano S Plus shifted screen!

I got my Ledger Nano S plus working wired. You can see and example of how the image is shifted.

Judging by your picture, the text can be read if desired. Therefore, if I were you (provided that HW has not passed the warranty period), I would get access to the wallet, if there is crypto there, and send it to another address. Or, if seed-phrase is saved, then would simply restore the device to factory settings. After that, I would send it to the manufacturer for a replacement, if Ledger require it.

It does appear sometimes like this. Had anyone experienced similar issue? What is most funny (strange) that you can not see it all the time one day works fine - and another day like this. What do you suggest me to do? Wait until Ledger support service wake up? I have already contact them a week ago and no one is really willing to help.
You say you contacted support a week ago? This is rather unusual, as some users here have claimed that Ledger has no problems with the support department and responds fairly quickly. Unless the delay is due to the fact that the support does not have time to process applications due to the large number of returns of defective devices.

Wait for their response and don't panic. After that, act on the proposed solutions that Ledger's support will tell you.

I have not purchased it from an official retailer because it is not possible to buy directly from Ledger - but an importer, per this: https://ledgernano.net/product/ledger-nano-s-plus/
https://www.ledger.com/reseller - you can search for your importer among dealers.

They are telling me that they have no choice othat than shipping it back to ledger for repair!! Which is not really good...
Who is speaking? Ledger or your importer? If Ledger suggests sending the device back to the factory, then why not do so (if it doesn't create any trouble for you). So you can get a new and working device.

I really do not wait for so long that they ship it back to France for replacement etc - and I prefer to have it repaired by myself. Any suggestion is appreciated.
Do you think that I can simply open it and try to repair it myself???
It's up to you to decide what to do here. If you are sure that you can handle the replacement of the display, then why not give it a try.

But all of the above makes me think that the best option for you is to send HW for a replacement so as not to complicate your life. Why? If you are asking questions of a similar nature as above, then I doubt that you can handle it.

Ledger Nano S Plus shifted screen!

OMG it looks like new Ledger nono S circus finally arrived in town  Cheesy
I was reading their reddit page and I didn't saw anything similar reported, but I know many other issues with screen on their older models S and X.
What I would do is write their support and ask for help or refund, because opening device at this stage would probably void your warranty.

I didn't order nono S plus device and I don't know anyone else from forum who owns it and who has similar problem like you.
Try writing a post on their reddit (if you didn't do it already) to get more attention from co-founds aka reddit moderators.

Do you think that I can simply open it and try to repair it myself???
Like I said before, opening device yourself would probably ruin your warranty, and you don't even know how to repair this issue.
This is just one more proof how bad ledger manufacturing process is and how they rushed production of their new device model.

AFAICS, you're the first one that's reporting that issue on Nano S Plus, but here's a similar issue on the Nano X: part of screen cut off and showing at the top
- The above link "clearly" it's not going to help you, but have you tried to reset it to its factory settings?

Wait until Ledger support service wake up? I have already contact them a week ago and no one is really willing to help.
It appears that one of their representatives has "already responded".

Please don't refer to yourself in the third person!

Judging by all of your previous accounts on Reddit and this forum, I think you're capable of repairing it by yourself but IMO, you should still consider shipping it back to Ledger.
- It could be just a defective screen, but I still don't think it's worth doing something that voids the warranty "at this stage"!
