Law student here !
I'm a medical student at Kings College London, hopefully becoming a surgeon one day.
What happened?

Gota do paralegal work. Kings college doesn’t pay for itself . Also have a photography studio. Jack of all trades me. Is not uncommon for people to have to work to get through school
I still dont think that things are adding up here, so you aren't really a law student after all? Or are you just referring to your paralegal work as being a "law student"? I just don't see any possibility how you can be both a law student while being a med student, can you imagine how much and how different you will be studying all at the same time? Also in my opinion if you really want to improve on your degree I wouldn't stray away and waste my time like doing paralegal work which won't improve me in anyway in your line of profession.

Wow, this is very good and I love it, we need a lot of law student that is for crypto so that it would be easy for us to operate without disturbance from any security agency or the government, I heard of a country were they arrest people who own Bitcoin and charge them a lot of money even though there is no law against Bitcoin in this countries.

If we have many legal persons that is for us, then I believe that all this kind of issues would be addressed until a law is brought against Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Law student here ! I’m just starting out in bitcoin just in small increments. I’ve been reading a lot on here about crypto being stolen even at the hands of the exchange which isn’t reassuring. If anyone’s in the UK and needs help drafting up a professional legal letter . I’m happy to help out if I can. I’m going into commercial contracts and wana practice. Not at a cost , just looking to get some experiences under my belt.

This is very good, people with high skill give us help that I believe we need. Start with experience is good and you'll have enough basic knowledge to begin your journey. I suggest you to join many crypto forum, social media group or telegram channel. From there you can get potential users, not give you experience but maybe also give you job/ cost.

You might want to create the same kind of thread in services threads.
Just in case someone have the problem it will be easier to find. Trading discussion is wider and might have the same keys when searched.

Maybe you could also input more information on how much or how it will be done.
You might get a lot of clients here since almost every month or week there is an exchange issue.

We got scammed, lol.
I'm not reading into his post history, I thought he has a chance to be an asset in the forum as he is willing to help about legal matters.
Too bad, I hope @Jating is right that he shifted course because he realize that he could offer more help in the forum being a lawyer than a medical student.

Please explain OP...

A great way to earn some experiences by helping in a real situation, well it's good to hear to that someone is offering a service without a charge because most of here even though not a professional they charge a price for their service.

So it's a both win win after all right? They got a service to have a legal letter and you will gain experience. Well good luck to you and thank you for having your service here in the bitcoin community.

EDIT:
@LoyceV: I just saw your reply and I'm amazed how do you managed to see that small detail? lol.
@kemarit: I'm starting to think that LoyceV is a real AI lol Cheesy

Let OP answer this one. lol maybe he shifted out course after he wrote that March post.  Grin Amazed how LoyceV spotted this small details.

It's because @LoyceV is an AI. You want proof? Here's some:

Another proof that you are an AI .
No human can give merit to 4 different users in one second.

@Loycev or the AI residing in that hat

So don't be surprised by his body of work.  Grin

Never taught that Bitcoin could ever be in a situation like this like making it a big deal for people to sue its other in terms with rights.

The future of security tokens
I feel your point is very valid as I feel legal actions should be taken more in cryptocurrency, but it depends on the sort of scam or fraudulent practice as some are not so easy(impossible) to trace, probably ICO scams could be traceable, but I don't know if scams through phshing links and Malware attacks could be
Would it be possible to take legal actions against such theft

Good thing we have this kind of peeps in our community. Way to go buddy. We hope to have also this kind of subforum for things that we should be taking into consideration legally so that we know when we're crossing the line.

Not a problem. Happy to help out, im learning in the process too which is a good thing

I would love to meet the same kind of law help from my compatriot, because of the law base for crypto in my country (Serbia) still stays unclear for many users and who knows what is allowed here and what is not. I do not wish to be a criminal, but I actually didn't meet a person who knows all details here.

Ah damn , I mean I’m knowledgeable in EU and UK Law, it would depend where your said coins have disappeared? I could help draft up a letter if need be. I wouldn’t have a clue about Serbian law tho

Nice of you to help the community and I'm sure that it's a win-win situation for you. I would also suggest that you also visit the Legal thread. I'm sure you can pick up something there because that board obviously discusses the legal complexity of cryptocurrency.
