After we launched banking, I often ask myself what the crypto community will choose: a dark turnover of cryptocurrency and a ban from different States, since this is not controlled, even the creation of a wallet OR controlled development , but at the same time a huge growth of cryptocurrency as we saw at the end of 2017!

Both options have their pros and cons!

I will personally prefer legalization over dark economy. The main reason why bitcoin isn't seeing enough growth is because it has not yet been adopted and legalized by many governments. If we want to see real organic growth of bitcoin, it must be circulated within the economy. It is only possible when governments around the world legalizes it. We are still standing at a very nascent stage.

On the other hand, dark economy is not really people's choice! The common people really don't want to live under a constant fear of being caught. So if bitcoin remains a preferred choice for dark economy, common mass will stay out of it. It will not give bitcoin the desired amount of attention it deserves.

So my personal choice will be legalization, obviously!
Everything should be in moderation, if Legalization will strengthen crypto , then only for a reasonable legalization!

What does dark economy mean and what do you mean by dark turnover?
I don't think that every states would ban it anyway and in fact some are even legalizing the user of crypto and supporting it because of the convenience it can give without getting into too much trouble of submitting documents.
In the end, we don't have a choice no matter what other people chooses in your choices because it is a decentralized system after all.

Many governments realized that it is not possible for them to stop the usage of crypto currencies completely so they have decided to make it legal which will give them income as well in the form of taxes. But if a governments tries to ban the crypto currency will resultsted into the formation of dark economy or illegal transaction or whatever you call it as.

Why there should be a "dark turnover / dark economy" for cryptocurrency to grow? Aren't we realizing that crypto is growing without this so-called dark etc. that you're saying.

I think you get it out of the context, the crypto economy is not a dark economy as you portrayed and why it should be banned when the crypto industry is giving us an option to choose other than fiat currency, let me clear this I'm not against with any cryptocurrency regulation and guidelines but it should be done through the cryptocurrency purposes, features and functions all of these should be present and intact. that was my only opinion!

I read every message and understand that cryptocurrency is a dark economy for States that can not control it , and for the entire community it is a transparent transaction gateway, But the minus, as well as the plus in terms of entering cryptocurrency in the state, that anyone can create a wallet and no one can influence it, which contradicts the norms of States!

The problem that Bitcoin or other crypto currency like monero has a bad publicity of being used in dark economy is beacuse the real world adoption of these coins as a payment service is very rare.once they get adopted we will stop hearing about these. Also banking has it's once flaws now as well.

It's a discussion we need to make with a open and wide perspective. With the new technological advancement, the world has became a small place. And our traditional administrative structure are not being able to transform according to the change in our lifestyle. The issues of money, it's flow, tax and the use of tax are being questioned. The use of intermediary bodies can be omitted if we successfully implement blockchain technology in our society.

Best usecase for blockchain is money. Money is used as a medium of exchange for everything. Black, white or grey economy.  Bitcoin is good because it is decentralised and expressionless. Monero is even better because it is fungible.

what the crypto community will choose

It's not up to the crypto community to make a decision. This isn't a closed system, anyone can 'join', be it individuals, companies or governments. And anyone can develop a coin. Also as stated in the above post by Ucy, blockchain is transparent. As soon as there is a way to connect a 'real' person to a crypto address (excepting privacy coins, mixers etc) then all of their transactions over all time can be traced. The immutability and transparency is a fundamental strength.

The reason that crypto continues to exist is that it is simply better in many ways than existing financial systems. This will lead to it becoming more widespread, and more mainstream, where it will encounter new regulations and legislation, including KYC and AML, and full legalisation will ensue. I think this is inevitable, and there is no choice here really, it will happen.

Define "Dark Economy" so we know exactly what you're trying to pass across.

Real cryptocurrency is pretty much transparent than fiat, so it doesn't really qualify as "Dark". Such classifications are based on emotions not facts.
If you mean Crypto-based economy vs fiat-based economy, they are almost thesame in my opinion. Cash is private/anonymous...and there is huge economy based on cash where I live.. that can be both good and bad thing?
