However, still making even 60 to 70 posts a week is difficult.

You finally agreed in this last comment that it is going to be difficult making even just 60 to 70 posts weekly, how much more 125 posts . That is true, except the member only wants to be making spam posts.

Besides, having alt account is fine. Some prefers to publicly admit it and some do not. Both have their own reasons.

Having an alt account is fine, but ban evading is not. He is appealing for this account, but his alt accounts are also banned, so there's no point.

125 posts in a week? I find it hard to believe. But can that be possible to do every week by one person and the person will not go blind from watching the computer screen for that number of hours? If it is not a bot doing it or magic I do not know what else can. This can also be why we find shit and off comment posts from high ranks who are into this because they want to complete the weeks count.
It's hard but not hard too if they do it using proper time management. In another post I was doing some calculation for eight hours of work. And per hour you only need 2.25 posts to make which is not hard job to do if one is taking it seriously as their day job. But they will not have a weekend LOL. Even missing a day means they need to fulfill the current day's post with previous days one too. This makes it hard.

I used to make a lot of posts in the past but it's only possible when you are enjoying your time in the conversations. However, still making even 60 to 70 posts a week is difficult.

One way to maybe find out the truth would be for admin @theymos to look at the IP logs from that time and compare the IP logs of all involved accounts. However, in all my time on the forum, I remember only one case when something like that happened and it was publicly talked about (@bill gator case).
I doubt theymos will do that unless it was involving a huge scam that could effect the entire forum reputation. There was a case long ago, I can not remember the year clearly, it was sometimes in 2012 to 2014. Besides, having alt account is fine. Some prefers to publicly admit it and some do not. Both have their own reasons.

After everything presented in this thread, my personal opinion is that the so-called coincidences are simply too obvious to be ignored and that this whole case is much more than the simple plagiarism that the OP persistently insists on. The activities of the alt accounts clearly show that it was an alf farm, and that OP tried to save at least one account then (3.5 years ago) as well as today.

There are hundreds of thousands of users here. A single mistake can be done by hundreds but that dosen't mean we can corelate those and blame anyone of alt farming.

Plagiarism is not just a mistake, it's a deliberate action. Also, it happened twice and the mods decided to give you a pass on the first one, so not a "single mistake".
A single mistake was being greedy and posting in the campaign thread so fast that you didn't notice all your accounts had the wrong personal text.
Your second mistake was deleting all these posts when you were caught.

Personally i dont like altcoins, they are so unpredictable and a waste of time. Maybe you are lucky and find out a good one that suddenly did a x10 and you have good money then. But a lot of them dont survive and they may be forgotten.
So i try to stay away from them. The only one that i like is Ethereum, but bitcoin is the most safe if you are gonna have money on cryptocurrencies.

Pretty strange for someone who spent 2 years and wrote over 100 posts in altcoin discussion, don't you think? Of course that's just another circumstantial evidence.

You also must be from the US, right? The 2014-15 GreatOrchid claimed to be.

The moment when the account was sold is August 10, 2017. This is the point at which your account switches styles into this forced signature posting, very similar to that of your other accounts.

But that's not all. Your posts are contradicting each other all the time, which means you either have a very erratic personality, or, more likely, were switching accounts so often that you couldn't remember what you wrote a week or two before.
First you say you dont like altcoins and only have ETH, then a few weeks later yo post that you're buying altcoins and this is the most profitable work you've ever done.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.21909589

If readers of this thread have time to spare they can look at your posts from 2014-15 and 2017 and compare them. 2014-15 have a completely different language, style, even spacing.

I didn't see any credibility that time and also there were a few allegations coming up so I ignored the thread thinking I would never get back on forum with such serious allegations with are never proven. It kind of disappointed me. No matter how loyal I be, at the end I'm blamed with such accusations which clearly are false. Even today I am replying that these accusations are false but at the bottom of my heart I know no-one would care and would leave me at the current situation with a permanent ban.

My only affection towards the forum forces me to appeal again and again to see if the admins can be soft hearted to forgive me and give me a chance again.

So, you at that time didn't feel like fighting the accusations and left the forum, but this doesn't answer my question, so I'll ask it again. Why did you delete posts in the OneHash thread?
It looks like you were trying to hide evidence and did that with all the involved accounts, which is just another proof they were connected.

Now we have this:
Your accounts had the same posting gap in 2017
Some of them woke up on the same day, the day when Onehash campaign started.
They posted in the campaign thread within 1 or 2 min between each other which is exactly the time needed to relog, change signature and fill the application with a new name and bitcoin address.
They made the same mistake in the personal text
They all deleted their applications after being caught
They all ignored the accusations
Some of them sent coins to the same address

All circumstantial, right?

OP should at least try to explain whether he is related to other accounts in any way. There are too many coincidences to dismiss this evidence.

I'm really tired of explaining myself. No matter how hard I explain myself, I would always be dumped into false accusations. There is no strong evidence yet my reputation is damaged entirely.

Based on Blockchain transactions[1][2], there's a strong evidence that the accounts are connected in some way, however, blockchain transactions alone may not be sufficient to prove that the accounts are owned by the same person. But, if we add to that the other evidence[3] presented by coolcoinz …

All above accounts stopped posting on the same day. July 21, 2018
All above accounts joined the same campaign on the same day November 11, 2018
All above accounts did the same mistake when joining. They copied the personal text along with the word "personal text"
All above accounts were inactive since their campaign application.

...the chances of all this being mere coincidence are pretty slim. There were thousands of active members on the forum. Of course, it is possible that some of them have a similar activity (joined the same campaign, on the same day, after a long period of inactivity) and make an identical mistake when joining, but the chance that these same members share blockchain transactions that connect their addresses, and that they are not related to each other, are almost non-existent.

Now you can try to explain it, or provide your evidence to refute those claims, if you want, but you can't say there is no strong evidence. Well, you can, but that wouldn't be true.

Four Hero, one Legendary five accounts!
If the investigation is true then there will be more two to three accounts. Safe to say all together five accounts. $60/w from each account $300/w. On average 25 posts per week. That's 125 posts. It seems better than a full time job. I am not saying it a bad idea but how it's possible? 😂

Man, three and a half years is a very impressive time. I, too, once made a mistake, but the forum was merciful to me. I don't know your future. However, I see those new people who create new accounts week after week. And yet the forum allows them to do this since they are still alive.
I am not calling for breaking the rules, but I have a sincere doubt that people who are passionate about being on the forum will wait three and a half years. During this time, you can become another legend.
By no ways, I had any intentions to break any of the forum rules. Even before 2.5 years I received several comments that I was involved in alt farm, etc though these just were allegations which were never proved. I sincerly waited for 3.5 years and what I received in return were the same allegations.

I gave my opinion almost three years ago. I haven't seen anything that would change my mind. At this time, it would make the most sense to allow you to create a new account and to agree that doing so would not violate the ban evasion rule.

Given the lack of action and the length of time since you opened this thread, I think it is unlikely that you will have your ban lifted.

Unfortunately, the admins and global moderators rarely comment on these types of threads, so I doubt you will get a response. The ban evasion rule is rarely enforced anyway, especially when the person is not causing major problems.
I don't want to violate the ban evasion rule even though it is rarely enforced. I have decided to be a loyal member of this forum and actively contribute for the betterment but not by creating any other account.
I would like to take chance even if my chances are not good of lifting ban. I've waited for 3 and half years and I will wait for even longer. I'm sure some or the other day, mods/admins might forgive me and allow me to get back onboard.

OP could have create another account and could make it a legendary account by this time frame without getting noticed by anyone. In an anonymous forum it should not be too hard to stay invisible.

Somewhere I saw few accounts were connected to GreatOrchid. I did not check the credibility but hoping it's not.

Given that this is the only account you have, waiting three and half years to get lifted for a ban and then coming back asking for forgiveness is very rare. It shows the love and passion you have for the account (I am not sure if the passion is same for the community but given the time you waited and coming back it cool).

I think if you should be given a chance.
This forum was the start of my career. I could never forget that. That makes me stand firm with my decision to get back on forum. No matter if I've waited for three and a half years. I will continue to do so until I've allowed to rejoin. I have not and will never create another account. By no ways, I will break any of the rules including ban evasion.

I have the same affection towards the community as I have for the forum. I want to give my best to contribute for the goodness of the community.

Hoping for the admins to allow me join with a signature ban.

The link to that thread is at the beginning of this thread, and I also posted it in my previous post, and it doesn't seem like the OP is innocent when he claims that this is the only account he owns. Too much of this indicates that he is part of an alt farm, and if one account gets permabanned, then all other accounts automatically get the same penalty.

Therefore, it should be clearly clarified here whether it is only about plagiarism or the OP cannot be unbanned because that would be ban evasion?

There are hundreds of thousands of users here. A single mistake can be done by hundreds but that dosen't mean we can corelate those and blame anyone of alt farming.
I clarify that I do not have any relation with these accounts by any ways. GreatOrchid & GreatOrchid_alt are the only accounts I handle.
There have been serious allegations against me from the time I opened this thread but those have not yet been proven. Three and a half years and those allegations still remain allegations only.

It is also clearly mentioned in the warning I receive on my account about me getting banned due to plagarism only. Plagarism is a crime over here but it should also be given a chance. I'm ready to prove myself with a permanent signature ban.

Oh yea, I remember this thread. I thought they were all suspicious because there was a very similar 1 minute gap between their application to the signature campaign and they all made the same mistake in the personal text because the owner was trying to change accounts so fast he or she didn't notice it.
After a while I was sure that all were controlled by one person and were all hacked accounts that used to post in different languages, had a gap in their posts, woke up around the same time and came to the same signature campaign at the same exact time, with the same mistake in their personal text.

OP denies claims that he or she was ever a part of this group, so let me ask this

Are you the only person who used this account since 2014?

When I made the thread about your group, you did not say anything and ignored it, but you obviously saw it because you deleted the evidence that were your posts in the OneHash campaign thread.
You even tried to reapply later in the campaign, got denied and deleted the post. It survived only because it was quoted.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48314817
Why did you delete them knowing the accusation was false and being able to prove there's no connection between the accounts?

It's really strange that these separate individuals who somehow woke up their accounts on the same date, came to the same campaign, wrote with a 1 minute gap from each other and made the same mistake in the personal text, saw that someone accused them of being linked and did nothing. Instead of countering the accusation, they all deleted their posts and even, in some cases, stopped posting.

Much of the answers to Lucius are applicable here.
I've researched the other account you are trying to connect with mine. Those can easily be spotted with language change, verbal changes, etc but can you really spot it with my account?

I'm not sure if those other accounts are hacked but I am damn sure I am the single owner of my account GreatOrchid from the year 2014.

I didn't see any credibility that time and also there were a few allegations coming up so I ignored the thread thinking I would never get back on forum with such serious allegations with are never proven. It indeed seems better than a full-time job but I'm not the one involved in it.
If every I though the same than I wouldn't appeal with a permanent signature ban. Signature is the only space allowing to earn a stream of income which I clearly don't want to be a part of.

It will be interesting to see if those accounts had any discussions together, owning so many accounts it's easy to create conversations between them and make those posts counts per week quite quickly. In addition it will be just another nail in the coffin of the "I have only one account" statement.
I myself will dig in more info about any such conversations. I was not involved with these accounts. How can I prove it? The allegations are getting such serious that it might take my life proving these are false. Cry
I would still say "I have only one account." with a fullstop.

When post count is the only thing in mind then anything can be possible. Creating conversations between their own accounts could be only one of them. Imagine you are required to make make 125 posts a week. That's 17 to 18 posts per day. If you are spending 8 hours then 2.25 posts per hour. Wait! It seems an easy job LOL.

The only problem I see that you can not have a day job and you can not have a weekend. You miss one day, you handle the pressure of additional 18 posts on your shoulder for that week 🤣

Given the level of plagiarism, I'd be surprised to see that happen. The first one (in 2014) might have been okay (it's in blue) if the OP from that topic added that information shortly before he posted it. I can't find anything in archives to tell whether or not this is what happened.
The 2017 plagiarism on the other hand is inexcusable. It's not as if he copied some helpful text from another site, he just copied older posts from the same thread. Cases like that were rampant in 2017, and it's what made me create my plagiarism topic.
I won't give any excuses but that was 3 years after I started using this forum. It took me almost 5 years to get acquainted with every rules and once I got to know them, I never broke any.
I deserved a punishment for the mistake done by me in 2017 but isn't 3.5 years enough? Even I do accept a signature ban as a permanent punishment and a learning to be remembered lifetime.

I know life in prison is a bit harsh for this, but if users get unbanned just because it was years ago, all bans can be lifted eventually. I don't think that will make the forum any better.
I'm sorry to say but if everyone has the same thinking than why was law ever made? The criminals should just be shot dead of hung instead of sending him/her to prison.
I specifically do not think the same. Every life should be given a chance. Don't tell me you have never done any mistake. What if you were not given a chance again?

Theymos always encourages that one mentions how they have positively contributed in the forum in the ban appeal before the got banned
Regarding my contrbutions, I have always exchanged knowledge with people like me who are looking to learn something new. I will continue to do so without any greed.
I think you'll need to do better than this if you want to stand a chance:
I'm trying the best I can do and am sure I can contribute to the betterment of the forum in smaller ways.

That post was created one month before you opened this topic. If your account changed owner before getting banned, the address is most likely posted by someone who isn't the original owner.
Account GreatOrchid was created in 2014, you're showing a post from 2019.

Why did you ignore this question?
Are you the real original GreatOrchid?

If so, tell me.. Who is Lurker?

Lets see if you are really even you..
I have no idea who Lurker is, but eddie13 seems to think you should know.
I would really need to dig hard in order to find any previous old addresses. I haven't much used those wallets since than as most of those wallets were been only used for bounties which were not actually permanent. I don't even have backup from past 4-5 years. But yet, I would try my best to find some oldest addresses and try to find private keys for those.

Now coming back to lurker, he was one of my associate back in the past. I don't know why would that be creating a panic over here. Years passed since we were in last contact and that's why I didn't find replying to this useful. I thought it is nothing to be discussed about.

Pretty good way to tell if your the original, or just an account hacker, if you know things from “years passed”.. That’s the entire point..

Not an extremely satisfying answer, but I say give him his account back with a signature ban..

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
I saw in OP that 3.5 years passed. That is a very big time passed and  it takes determination not to have moved on till date. I read from first page and understood that you were banned because of plagiarism and not once and not twice. I can say that you were not a legend when you committed the plagiarism. Because if I see a legendary is being banned because of plagiarism, I will only laugh and move my way.

The moderators do not unban person by pity, they will not say because it has been long you were banned let them unban you. If you have not provided good reasons to unban you, it could remain that way. 3 years is big enough to gather how you have contributed to the forum and present in your appeal.

Best hopes on them considering my appeal and vote on justice.

Fingers crossed
I doubt if it will ever be unbanned especially for the fact that there is an account farm that is linked to your banned profile. What they usually look for when they are unbanning someone is it he has a net positive contribution in the forum.

Theymos always encourages that one mentions how they have positively contributed in the forum in the ban appeal before the got banned
I'm not involved in the account farming and even the allegations were not proved that time.
Regarding my contrbutions, I have always exchanged knowledge with people like me who are looking to learn something new. I will continue to do so without any greed.

It takes a special kind of stupid to take someone else's work and pass it off as your own. Doesn't matter what the work is. Could be an article, could be a forum post, it could be a painting. Regardless, I think you should accept the punishment and learn from it. My vote would be that you do not get a 2nd chance and you lose the account permanently. Best case scenario for you would be you get your account back but are never allowed to join a sig campaign again. I cannot speak for the rest of the forum or the staff but people who do this type of shit have no remorse usually and only care when they get caught.
Even stupid people deserves a chance to grow up. I feel every human only learns from his mistake and so have I. What I have learned is unforgettable now.
Coming onto signature, I won't use the space even if it is allowed for me. I don't just want to make money but be a part of the community and share knowledge with like-minded people.

Yes it would completely be fine for me in case of permanent suspension of signature. I no longer have intentions to enroll in any of the signature campaigns.
That's the best case scenario that comes out of this, and it's cool that you are down with it, if that's the way you can get back into the forum.
Your appeal is here, and even though the admin does not comment much, they see all (or almost all) messaged posted here and would take an action if they consider your appeal.
If you do not get a response of any sort, that most likely means it's a No to your request.
Best hopes on them considering my appeal and vote on justice.

I was banned due to plagiarism as per last responses and I do accept the mistake and plead for forgiveness.
Coming onto @stompix's allegations, those still are assumptions not proven.

I've come back after all these years looking for forgiveness. I've had enough punishment for past 3.5 years.
Still I respect the decision taken by staff or other members but I want to keep my side infront of everyone as well.
I've been a member since 2014 and all these years I've learned a lot from this forum and wish to continue doing so in future as well.

maybe you have already answered such questions, I didn't read everything in the thread because it is quite old.

Can you explain, why you want this account back? I mean, why is he so important to you? You did not do any business with them so it is important for you to use it.
Also, if in some case it happens, would it still be interesting to you if the account was unbanned but without the possibility of having signatures? permanent suspension of signature, but you have access to the forum and can participate in discussions and learn new things, are you fine with that?
I want this account back because it was where I started in 2014. I knew nothing before that. I still remember the times when I used to surf the entire forum just to learn something new and it has created great memories. Today, I'm successful in the space earning enough to live a comfortable life and all thanks to bitcointalk.

I hope I can be given a chance again.

When it comes to plagiarism, everyone can hope to get a second chance, and many got it because they had the support of other members and were punished with a signature ban for a certain period. As far as I could understand from the posts in this and other threads, @stompix pointed out that in your case it is not exclusively about plagiarism, but about ban evasion.

You probably already are, but take another look at this thread - it seems to me that this is very seriously documented and that there is no doubt that you are part of a large alt farm - one banned account means the same fate for all the others.

I don't know why is my account banned.
I was using it since morning today but lately i came to know that i was been permanently banned!
My profile link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/greatorchid-364362
I would really appreciate your responses!
Also any suggestions where can i appeal?

Don't you guys think, I've been punished for a long time. Even criminals are been released from the jail after few hours. I already spent more than a year as a punishment for some fullish mistakes I made a lot years ago.
Please, can I now be given a chance again?

More than 3 years have passed but still I'm left punished with a permanent ban on my account.
I really wish to join back the forum and be an active member.
I accept the mistake I made that time but I also feel like I have been punished for a really long time. Every mistake deserves forgiveness and that's what I am asking here. :/
I've been away from bitcointalk for more than 3 years as the only account I handled was permanently banned and it demotivated me from using forum again. But I respect the amount of knowledge this forum can spread and now I really want to be a part of it again.

I hope I can be given a chance again.

As far as I can tell, the recovery team only works for people that have lost access (passwrod mostly) to their accounts. A ban for plagiarism is in other whole level and I pretty much doubt the team can do something about it.

I don't know why I kept thinking that he was hacked. Yes, you are right! No use contacting them.
Guess my paranoia gets the better of me some times Smiley)

...since i saw the proofs of coinlocket$ and also stumbled across this thread i see the unban relatively sceptical again...

So it might not be just a blatant plagiarism attempt after all...
Tried to help out but seems OP has lots of skeletons in his closet.

Not really, as it turned out that blockchain only lets you sign or get the private key of imported addresses

but GreatOrchid_alt managed to export his seed today with the guidance of iasenko so that the signing by electrum works?

You should also send an email to the recovery team with one of those signed messages. Just a thread in meta might not be sufficient

you're right! this probably went down in the process of the thread. in principle, you have already laid the right track yesterday!

You could also export the private key (same tab, but private key instead of sign) and sign it on electrum (for example).

How can you say these "10" accounts are connected only because they have some common transactions? Wouldn't it be possible that a single person used to buy bounty tokens before they get listed on exchanges & most of the people including me in the past sold some to that individual.

I had seen the thread you mentioned in the last as well but I don't know why have you linked my account in between those accounts.

I HAVE NO RELATION WITH THOSE ACCOUNTS. I even didn't use this forum from the time I was banned.

So "some" of these 10 random accounts participated in the same random campaign at the same time, at least 3 times and sent tokens to the same address?
Many of those account copypasted the same wrong personal text on this signature.

i had the link to the FAQ for seed export still open and before i could write it down iasenko overtook me Grin
but in the end, it doesn't matter. The main thing is it could be helped.
that in connection with the possession of the original mail address + the willingness of a responsible person to give you a second chance should could be enough to get ahead here.

Not to be bitchy about it (didn't have a good sleep tonight so maybe a bit), but I had already replied with that answer yesterday...

The only alternative that comes to mind is that if you still have the seed for that wallet you import it on electrum, and from there you signed a message.
If you don't have the seed you can see it again on the security center, as it seems that you are logged in to be able to take that screenshot, and do the above step.

But, as you say, the important thing is that it got resolved.

I don't actually have the seed orelse I would have simply imported the address and signed a message from blockchain wallet itself.
The only things I have is: "Wallet-id & password" which gives me access to the blockchain wallet.

I hope the email verification works as it's my last hope perhaps. Embarrassed

This is enough, login to your blockchain wallet, go to Secuity Settings and then Backup Phrase.

I already tried everything possible. I googled regarding the same and even I checked on this forum as well but yet can't find the exact solution to sign a message from blockchain wallet.

that should help you, shouldn't it?
already tried to import the address (you have seed, right?) into electrum and sign it there?

You cannot sign message directly on their site, at least for now. But, if you have backup seeds, just import it to electrum and sign message from there or you can use BIP39 Iancoleman(use it offline) and write your seeds on there and just search your address, import the private key from address that you want to sign to your blockchain wallet via imported address and you will able to sign message from there.

I have never changed my email address on my profile and still I am actively using the email mentioned on my profile.

that might be helpful.

I see people are advising OP to start a new account but isn't that ban evasion?

I know you can fool everybody including the mods and the admin if you use a different IP and stay out of trouble but I think nobody should promote this.

It wasn't a one sad mistake. He did it multiple times. Considering that theymos is doing exceptions lately maybe he would give you a 2year sig ban but don't get your hopes too high because these exceptions was made for the guys who didn't over-do stealing and actually contributed to the forum in a positive way.
That's exactly what I mean to say. I don't want to violate any forum rules henceforth and even I would never create a fresh account as it would be a ban evasion.

Also, we as human beings do a lot mistakes and in the past I was not even aware about most or the forum rules. But now, I do respect each and every forum rules & regulations and would also actively contribute to the betterment of the forum. I would spend most of my time in the betterment of the forum if ever I am given another chance.

If not, I just have to go through useful posts as a guest without posting any replies. I would continue using this account to browse posts.

Even a long term signature ban would be OK for me as long as I can contribute to the forum. I would also not launch any of the services here as I did in past(bounty management) so it would keep me way far from earning any kind of earnings from this forum

I have a strong desire to start posting back and considering something which would be beneficial for the forum as well as the members.

Can you sign a message from an old address?
Unedited post mentioning the bitcoin address: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.49854731
Bitcoin address: 17MECMPH3haxj9s3xKkqpLnmXvpVhdytf8
That post was created one month before you opened this topic. If your account changed owner before getting banned, the address is most likely posted by someone who isn't the original owner.
Account GreatOrchid was created in 2014, you're showing a post from 2019.

Why did you ignore this question?
Are you the real original GreatOrchid?

If so, tell me.. Who is Lurker?

Lets see if you are really even you..
I have no idea who Lurker is, but eddie13 seems to think you should know.

I'm sometimes known as "miniadmin"

The method you said is only applicable for imported address and not the original address present on the wallet.
I've attached a screenshot below and hope there might be some other way to sign a message from this wallet.

My bad; I tried it on my own wallet before posting, but didn't realize I used an imported address...

The only last option for me would be that I'll share my wallet id with some trusted member over here so that he/she can actually verify what I hold the address.

The only alternative that comes to mind is that if you still have the seed for that wallet you import it on electrum, and from there you signed a message.
If you don't have the seed you can see it again on the security center, as it seems that you are logged in to be able to take that screenshot, and do the above step.

Fortunately I found my wallet Id for blockchain.com wallet and I can now access that wallet but yet I can't find a way to sign a message from blockchain.com.

Open the "Wallets & Addresses" menu on settings, and from the address you want to sign the addres, More Options--->Sign

You could also export the private key (same tab, but private key instead of sign) and sign it on electrum (for example).

Hope that helps you
I already tried everything possible. I googled regarding the same and even I checked on this forum as well but yet can't find the exact solution to sign a message from blockchain wallet.

I tried a lot finding my private keys for the previous addresses but can't find much.

I'm still looking for a way to sign a message from this address as I do have access to my wallet.

Plus, I have never changed my email address on my profile and still I am actively using the email mentioned on my profile. I can even send a mail from my registered email address to prove the ownership.(I already have sent a mail few months ago though)

Many people have been unbanned and given signature bans instead. I do think a permaban forever is harsh in many cases, especially if it was only one or two instances of plagiarism, but it's hard to tell/know of how many they did ultimately and especially now.
I would readily accept a signature ban as I already mentioned that I do not just want to use this forum to participate in any signature campaigns. I want to start contributing for the betterment of the forum in any possible way. I really appreciate your polite thoughts. Also, I've suffered for more than a year so perhaps now I might be forgiven and given an another chance to prove my worthiness.

From what I know, your odds is too low. About one year and your ban appeal has not yet been accepted while there are some ban appeals were accepted months ago.

You can see from [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism and look at the part for Second chance after get perm-banned. You need to have good net effects to have acceptance from global moderators or admins. Moderators can only play their roles to give some reports of your case to global moderators or admins, that they probably did months ago.

Once banned, there is no return back. (well ive seen some cases when miracles happen)

What about when someone is banned 5 times, and then unbanned.
Did you ever heard about this miracle story?

So you'll accept a multi year sig ban but wouldn't care to start over? You cannot contribute from a new account? What you're saying makes 0 sense man. No i'm not saying break the rules and make a new account, but what is the difference between old account restored and contributing and making a new account to contribute?
Starting over is not actually what i am thinking on. Because even if i do start over, i would need to atleast rank up to member rank to uplift all the restrictions including sending pm's, uploading images, posting time gap, etc. Also it would be something which would violate the forum rules which i won't consider by any chance. I actually love this forum because of it's unique features. I did not just join this forum to earn few bucks from the signature campaigns so multi year signature bann won't affect me unless and until i am able to contribute towards the betterment of the forum.
Few peoples here might remember my old account and i can conveniently post from that but starting from fresh isn't what i am really expecting.

There is something called Copper Memphis, this takes away all the restrictions you mentioned above, but again this still be against the rules. Once banned, there is no return back. (well ive seen some cases when miracles happen)

I looked at the length of your last 200 posts, and considered other factors, including how frequently you have been quoted (900+ times). It is my opinion that your old account should remain banned, but that you should be allowed to rejoin the community under a new account. Given the time you have already been banned, your previous lack of merit, and the minimum time it takes to rank up, I believe this to be roughly the same as a multi year signature ban. Alternatively, maybe 800 or so of the merit you received when you were grandfathered into the merit system could be deducted from your account, and you would be given a 12-15 month signature ban (plus the 9 months you have already been banned would work out to a two year signature ban).

I can't promise anyone will take my opinion as anything. Good luck!

This is assuming that your above responses cannot be disproven (to himself) by an administrator.
I appreciate your response but it is not really easy for me to start with a fresh account as it would take years to be a legendary again on this forum. I would rather stop using this forum(that's actually what i did for the past 9 months) instead of creating a new account. Also i can accept multi year signature ban as it won't allow me to earn a revenue from the campaign system and still i can contribute towards the forum, but keeping my account banned will demotivate me to leave this forum forever Cry
I hope the mods can take a wise and caring decision perhaps. Cry
But i am more afraid after readind your reply. Let's see what happens.

Did you only plagiarize those three posts? Or was your plagiarism more widespread?
I can't find the third post, but yes only two of my posts were plagarized. Rest, each of my posts were meaningfull and i really used to spend a lot of my time on this forum back then. The day i was banned, i lost all faith and it was really a lot demotivating for me.
In future i would never ever even think about plagarism if by any chance i am given a chance back onto the forum.

Do you have any sockpuppets that have caused problems/trouble before you were banned? Have you caused any problems since you were banned?
What about the above ?
Sorry, edited the post above you.
Lately saw that!

Edit: I also sent a mail to the email address displayed on my mail account for an appeal to unbann my account. Fingers crossed Embarrassed

9+ months passed but yet there is no response from the mods.
I accept i might have made mistakes back in the past, but don't you think years passed for that and everyone should be given a chance to improve their mistakes?

I was much cautious while using my account on bitcointalk and on loosing my hard earned Legendary account i lost my faith on bitcointalk truely speaking. But i want to get back and start contributing the forum. I would actively contribute towards the betterment of the forum if i can really get my account back.

I am realising that my hard efforts are really going waste and it is emotionally hurting me. Atleast give me a chance to improve my mistakes please?

I want to start using back this forum but as per the forum rules and regulations i can't create a new account with having my old account here. It strictly violates the forum policies. I have seen a lot of users have been given a chance and are welcomed back onto the forum, so why that might not be the case with me?

I promise i would positively contribute on the forum and if i am found violating any of the forum policies, i myself will leave the forum forever and never will turn back, but atleast give me a chance.

What do you guys think? And i already appealed to cyrus and theymos but got no response so what other step can i take in order to unban my account?

MY RED TRUST LEFT BY SCUMBAGS - READ MY SIG
those are quite damning if you had a sig on at the time and can be demonstrated to have done this for no other reason that gaining financially.

however a precedent has been set that even financially motivated copy and pasters can be reinstated depending == well I do not know the exact criteria.

I suspect even if you are allowed back then you will have no sig for a few years.

I can't recall the guys that were allowed back after getting busted for financially motivated copy and paste but someone will point you to that case so you can make a sensible comparison in terms of the net value you bring to the community. Then you can make an informed choice regarding whether it is worth the time and effort to push the appeal.

I always take interest when a legend is banned because that is not something that is easy to replace now and if you are truly sorry then perhaps a harsh uppercut in the face like this is enough to stop you doing it again in future, then total destruction can be avoided.

If you are a real enthusiast you will not care about losing your sig for a few years anyway and will be happy to be able to keep contributing here regardless of direct payment.

I have not seen a legend with that few posts before.

I support all but total maniac copy and pasters that are legends to be given a sig ban and not get a perm ban. I imagine all legends have contributed something of worth over the years.

Make a case of the net positive contributions you have made and list them here. That could well help your cause.

Theymos is often quite fair so if nobody else helps then PM him if you have done some good here on the forum and say you will not mind a few years sig ban.

Hate to see peope who have been here 5yrs kicked out if they still believe in this movement.

Yes, bitcoin is the gold of the new era.
If we're talking about the new value of currency in the internet, there are several cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin and Bitcoin is the most popular of them but I can't tell it the new value of currency so soon we've got a long way to go.
We are dreaming about the new money and Bitcoin is a candidate for that. It is still not legally accepted as a form of exchange I think it's too early to say that BTC is the new money.
If we're talking about if we can use it to buy foods and etc. Definitely yes, there are stores and banks that accepts Bitcoin I can name a few if you let me. But the point is, it is being used in some services and it can be use as an exchange to buy things. Don't worry Bitcoin are being used in that kind of things.

Yup Bitcoin is trending nowadays but to earn it easily is another thing. Bitcoin is what they call gold of the internet. If gold is hard to earn in the Earth's soil then Bitcoin is hard to earn in the spectrum waves.

Interesting reading the comments in this thread, both from 2 months ago and also those that are more recent.

An interesting theme that I picked up on is most people feel that 1: Ethereum can't do this because that would mean Bitcoin would need to be worth x price. And probably more dominate 2: Ethereum can't do this because that would mean it's marktetcap would be worth more than Bitcoin.

What I find amusing is that a lot of people feel there is like some unbreakable law somewhere that an "Alt Coin" cannot possibly overtake Bitcoin, ever! Also, the false assumption that only one coin can rise, or more precisely if one were to rise too much that would be Bitcoin would need to fall like there is some finite amount of money in cryptocurrency or something.

My thoughts are that yes, Ethereum can very well be worth $1000 each, and it may even happen this year yet. Bitcoin also may remain top dog and be worth $10,000 each, or to the horror of many, maybe it will only be $3,000 and second place to Ethereum's market cap.

As the final chuckle, the recent comment even with Ethereum recently seeing $200 in that "oh no, to reach $1000 that would mean it would need to be 5x what it is worth now". Do you people not keep abreast of what is happening. Not too long ago (5-6 months) Ethereum was trading at under $7 and it recently spiked close to $210 meaning it has seen a 30x rise in just the last 6 months, so tell me why is that extra 5x rise this year so impossible again?

It posted years ago, and I guess you did not intentionally do it, but in reality it is plagiarism, and you can not deny it.

I would really appreciate your responses!
Most likely: plagiarism, ban evasion or spamming. You had 222 replies deleted, then joined a signature campaign that recently became known for spamming.

Right here and you kind of already did it.
If you have been banned for plagiarism and somebody comes with the proofs of you doing so then consider your appeal denied.
Checking your post history doesn't look like at first...but who knows..
