i have deleted the negative trust, but you know that  PST time is still PST time...
no hard feeling but you were unfair.

I will remove mine as well, but please man, don't get petty over this kind of stuff, it really doesn't look good.

I was not unfair, I first proved that the forum was in UTC by verifying against the time of my clock, which is in PST...

Once I had proven the forum was in UTC, I calculated your bid, in UTC, to PST...

That time, was 1 hour behind the time I had set...

I don't know how else I could have proven it... but feel free to prove it the opposite, though it will make no difference in the sale at this point, because it is over, .35 to the person who bid 3 days before all this mess.

I'm locking this topic and I'll remove the neg on your trust as well. Thank you for that.

The one being stupid is you, by not keeping your word and comming up with excuses.
I expected you to know what you are doing, what you said makes you a man of your word.
The writing is there you just dont want to send it abroad so whose petty and stupid? making up escuses that is wahtever UTC time.

Learn how to organise a bid... then you can be an escrow agent Smiley

Thanks...
Good luck with your sales...

forum time was not mentioned

Well, how else am I going to calculate the time you bid, I have to use the time based on the post in the forum, then calculate that to the timezone I said... it's the only way it can be proven fair.

Sorry if it was confusing, it even got me there for a minute, I was off by an hour too, next time I'll just go by forum time to not confuse the situation at all...

Sorry for my language but im pissed.
Calculate it by what you said.

2 things
-whens auction end?
- I bid 0.25 assuming your good with using a reputable escrow member of this fourm

Yea, I suppose that might be good to know right? lol... Well, let's just say the auction runs for 7 days from right now.

That makes the end time 5.28.16 at 7:30 PM PST.

Yes, I will accept escrow but if we use one with a fee, buyer will pay the fee. I have high enough rating to be an escrow myself, so I don't think that's necessary, but if buyer insists, that's fine if they pay the fee.

I would like to point out that the laptop runs great, and has nothing wrong with the thing at all, aside from that one picture noted, which doesn't affect its function. Happy bidding!

That makes a bidder not to give a fuck about your local time or daylight saving time or universal time...

how can you say i was late, it was 28th of may 7.30 PST

Your bid came in according to this forum (UTC) at 3:29 AM Sunday...

That means it was actually

3:29 AM Sunday, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is
8:29 PM Saturday, in Reno, NV

You were 1 hour behind.

Read what you said in the 3rd post(i think)
28th of may 7.30 PST, now you say UTC, make up your mind.

My bid came at 7.29 PST 28th of May.

Thanks for being fair...

I'm going by the time the forum says... the forum says it was 3:29AM (the forum is in UTC)

3:29 AM Sunday, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is
8:29 PM Saturday, in Reno, NV

3:29 AM in UTC is 8:29 PM in PST... so you were 1 hour behind.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, anyone... But I'm pretty sure the forum is in UTC, right? let's find out... Right now the forum says it is...

05:55:22 PM

my clock says

10:56 AM

That means the forum is in UTC... that means your bid was 1 hour behind the time I posted. He posted his bid 3 days before, obviously within the time... Sorry man, I misread the clock the first time by an hour as well, but based on what I posted, you WERE one hour behind...

I've definitely learned my lesson though, next time I'm going by UTC... lol... sorry man.

I said PST, his bid came in DAYS before the ending, an the last two bids were AFTER the end time. So technically those were both null...

He won for .35 because his bid came in before the cutoff time by few days.

I still think PST and PDT are different here, it does say PST, i read about this before bidding to make sure im not wrong.
It did not say local time, so i took it as PST.

I feel a bit cheated here if it goes south from here.

Yea, I didn't notice you were both over the time, in that case I would have to say that the higher bid takes it, since you guys weren't that far off, and we all apparently don't know how to calculate timezones...

Unless you think that is unfair??? I'm not really sure how to proceed here... What do you guys think?

This is BtLeafClover and adib going back and forth here. My bid came in on May 24th. Still willing to go to BTC0.4, though.

You're totally right, I absolutely overlooked that, you're the clear winner, and I'll take .4 but you actually won for .35, so it's up to you!

sorry adib, he bid before the deadline, gotta go with what's right here.

I checked, it was 7.29 PST
http://time.is/PST

I checked that URL. I'm sorry to say, it is actually am hour off. I'm assuming it is programmed without taking into account daylight savings.

The time you are refering is PDT
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/

Thats the point of standard timing.

Interesting... I default to Crowetic's judgement and escalate my bid to BTC0.4 if need be.

The time was 7:30PM PST, local time is not the issue here.
http://time.is/PST is were i took the time frame

This is the actual PST:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/los-angeles
Your click must have not been programmed to calculate daylight savings.

Edit: on mobile. Wrong link. One minute please

Ill top that if necessary ut acordin to the conditions, i did win the auction, no offence.
Also shipping outside US, ut since there was no mention of no international shippin, i did assume its availale.

That is correct, but of course international shipping is going to be a bit more expensive, though I am willing to do it.

Go ahead and PM me.

If this for some reason falls through, the next person who got the bid in BELOW the time stated in the post, wins. I am a man of my word, sorry guy who bid after the time ended!

Sorry, adib actually bid at 8:29:12PM PST. PMed you Crowetic.

I checked, it was 7.29 PST

I think you may have miscalculated your time zone. If Crowetic has his forum clock set to his local time zone (which is the same as mine), he should be able to see the timestamp on the bid came an hour after the auction closed.

This isn't the auctions section, I think you need to move your post.

Well, the thing is, since it's computer hardware, it seems to fit a bit better in the hardware section, as this is where people would come when looking for a laptop... But I guess if more people say it should be moved, suppose it could be.

High bid - .35

Auction has 4 days remaining. The laptop does come with power supply, and is fully functioning. Thanks!

You're looking at a Lenovo Yoga 11 laptop/tablet convertible up for sale. AUCTION! This laptop has a very small amount of damage, but it doesn't affect the use of the machine in any way, everything else is in perfect condition aside from a few use scratches.

CPU - 3rd gen i5 3317U

This laptop is also a tablet, you can flip the screen all the way around and turn it into a very powerful tablet that runs full legit version of Windows. It has 10 point multitouch screen that is in perfect condition. Also comes with a thin cover/case (shown in pictures).

Here's the closest I found on Amazon after a quick search... http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-11s-11-6-Inch-Convertible-Touchscreen/dp/B00DVZBJA6
