that is just another stupid website in series of bullshit websites that are created to spam and earn money. their articles are pure bullshit without any research. you shouldn't even be reading them let alone post the link on a forum to direct traffic to their bullshit.

BitInfoCharts found that of the 11 million Bitcoin holders in the world, only 1,000 of them (approximately 0.009 percent) control 35.4 percent of all of the BTC in circulation. Of those 1,000, the top ten account holders control 5.96 percent of all BTC.

this is riddled with bullshit that it is coming out of authors ears.
1. there is no "accounts" to hold bitcoin and you have no way of telling who holds what and when an address has X amount of bitcoin if it belongs to a single person or a group or a business. for example most of the top coins in bitinfocharts belongs to exchanges.

Cryptocurrency expert Bob McDowall believes that these major ‘hodlers,’ colloquially knowns as ‘whales,’ have the power to manipulate the Bitcoin network.
the author is dumb enough that he doesn't even know bitcoin is not Proof of Stake. it is Proof of Work. it doesn't matter how much bitcoin you own, you can not manipulate the "network" with them.
in other words expert my ass Grin

What we think about bitcoin network? How much is it controlled? The Bitcoin network is much more highly centralized than most people think.
