Can any of you recommend me some kind of online or offline book to increase my knowledge about bitcoin.
For your information, I am a trader who has only been introduced to trading since 2024. I want to learn a lot from you apart from just watching some valuable lecture or tutorial on YouTube or other sources. So don't hesitate to give me advice, I will study or learn in my spare time. Thanks.

That's all about the newbies they always find this wonderful place difficult, but since you have proved yourself out that you need some of kind of offline books that can increase your knowledge about the Bitcoin skills which can lead to to become an expert like others members that are into trading, and i can see that so many of people's have recommended you with defferences site that you can visit and alot of research that will move your leaning forward.

They said that leaning is continue sentences so feel free to ask questions about whatever that comes across your mind and you're out understand, so that those that ahead of you can share their knowledge with you for more understanding, trading deserve enough knowledge which why we can see know all people's are introduced themselves in to it. Because it involves of some risks and is only fews of people's know how to afford the risks.

Their are so much you can learn in this forum, even in this board. The forum is a place where learning is very easy because things that might be difficult for you to understand,  you can bring it up here and members that have better understanding can make it very easy for you to understand.  I'll also to advice you to take your time to learn and not to be in rush, learning is a gradual process which you can't learn everything at a time.
Yes, at least these responses he got in this thread will teach the OP a lot of lesson and I am sure if he go through the comments and read through all the links provided, he has gotten all the guide he need about trading and Bitcoin itself.

After all the knowledge, advises, and recommendations, the OP needs to be disciplined and depart himself from copy trading and he should always be sure of what he/she is about to do. When it comes to trading, the OP need to learn how to be satisfied with little profit so that greed will not made him lose all his assets and he should always be cautious and do research well about any project he/she is planing invest in or trade. Also the OP should learn to use reputable exchanges so as not get scammed easily.

Regardless YouTube is a very power tool to learn from if you're subscribed to the right channels, and to me is the best way of learning things more easily by watching practical experience videos or tutorials.

From the trading perspective, Op don't think of trading for now, "You are introduced to trading since 2024" means you're still not experienced, I would suggest you should gathere more knowledge and become experienced then you can put those knowledge into practice by starting your trading journey.
I agree that since you're still a beginner, you should not rush into trading but focus more on acquiring knowledge in the forum itself and learn from the personal experiences of those leaders that are ahead of you.

However, reading some books that would be significant for future trading is also a good idea, and by following those list of books mentioned above, you will be molded slowly into becoming a good and reliable trader in the future. Take time to learn first, and when you think you've learned enough, that's the time to experience your first trading in the market, but don't expect immediate profits because it will always be impossible at first.

It's a good thing that you already mentioned that you watched some videos in YouTube. YouTube has every information you need, wether you want to learn about bitcoin or or about trading. YouTube is just like a university of its own. I will suggest you also read the bitcoin white paper. You will gain lots of knowledge reading it. Devote your time and go through it. If you can get access to "The Binance Bible" you should also read it. It is a power tool that has lots of information that will enhance your knowledge.

I'm not going to recommend you with further readable materials as others has got you a lot but here, I'll advice you to study more about bitcoin, it risks and the basics promoting the volatilities including the studies of the exchange which you'd used for your tradings. Understand the terms involving buying and selling at all costs and then, build a strong emotion because trading is accompanied with heavy tasks as risks to loose may not be exemptional.

In an era where things, especially digital ones, keep getting upgraded and old information and details get outdated every day, you can't read a book and gain knowledge that is up to date. So it's always better that you focus on gaining knowledge over the internet and make sure you are using multiple sources to verify the information you are getting.
There are many places to get information and knowledge. Books are one of means to get information and knowledge but it takes more time to update books from version to version. If you want to get updates more often, you need to find it from other resources like websites, Github, forums than with books.

Quote
When you watch a video or read something in a blog or a news website, you should search for the same information and double check whether everything said in it is true and correct or not because you can't believe everything you see or read on the internet.
I like to learn with books or with texts than with videos because if I need to jot something down, I can do it more easily with books or websites than with videos. If you have a book, need to find something, you can do it more easily than if you have a long video and can not know where to search for a specific part of information in the video.

Three reasons why books are better than videos
Compared to reading, how much does video improve learning outcomes?

I haven't heard about any book one can read about bitcoin, all I know is to try to get the ideas from here. There are thousands of people in this forum that have large experience about bitcoin, they have been into the system for long, and so they come here to share their experiences with us,while we try to to follow their steps. But is is still right to get books that you will read on bitcoin,it shows you want to learn more and willing to go more miles in other to get to where you want to be.
Bitcointalk forum has helped me a lot the little days have stayed here.I am here to learn, and I will keep on learning.

Coming here for advice, ofcourse everyone have what to say and we should be very careful whenever we're in the market. Crypto and bitcoin have been in existence long before now and it doesn't suit in for newbies because their chances and odds of losses will become more greater. We learn everyday and we know what's best for everyone of us. It's advisable to always stick to principles and strategies whenever you've dealing with the system.

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
Amongst the other books that have been supplied for you, I think you should try this securities.io/ Bitcoin-books as it will help you on your Bitcoin journey.
Although many will advise you to read some books about Bitcoin before you begin anything, others will also suggest you read and also practice; that's if it's trading you want to venture into.
There are also many lists of security and privacy threads that OcTradism posted on beginners & help board which can be very helpful for newbies.

This is it: Security and Privacy Encylopedia

These lists are very useful for newbies that wants to go into knowing about bitcoin and other altcoins. It will help them to know some scams and hacks and how to avoid them.

There are lots of books out there you can use to study Bitcoin as a beginner, but you have to focus more on the basics for now and I'll recommend you just read through the links that have already been provided for you on this post by other members especially the learn me Bitcoin. I too did read through it at my early days and it was very very useful to me. Also, you mentioned about being introduced to trading. Trading is kind of an advanced level for a beginner and if you want to be a trader, you might want to know the basic first. Trading comes with a whole lot of risk and for a beginner you might end up losing your funds to the market. Just don't rush into trading for now but try to understand how the market rides through the wind.

So, are you thinking of reading books on Bitcoin itself? Or are you interested in books that are particularly focused on trading or investing?

As regards Bitcoin itself, there's the likes of Antonopoulos and Harding's Mastering Bitcoin for a more technical explanation or Ammous' The Bitcoin Standard for a crypto layman-friendlier explanation.

I haven't read a Bitcoin trading or investing book, but it seems The Crypto Trader by Glen Goodman, Trading Cryptocurrencies by Clem Chambers, and The Only Cryptocurrency Investing Book You'll Ever Need are some of the most popular. You might want to check some feedback on them.

If you are the type that spends time reading, I believe the link to the Learn Bitcoin website will help you in the journey you are about to embark on, but only if you don't turn out to be one of those newbies who create threads and never visit them again to get the information they ask for.

Well I don't really know much about trading, as it was never part of my reasons for learning about Bitcoin. You actually specify that you are a trader, but am not sure of what you trade. You should know that crypto trading can be very risky especially when you haven't understood certain things relating to trading. Wish you good luck in your learning.

I believe the OP already knows about trading things since he specifically pointed out trading direction as the only thing he knows about crypto. I have seen a lot of people who focus on learning only about spot trading or any type of trade they desire and still have almost zero knowledge about what they trade aside from the market movement of that coin.

Advise given to one that wants to learn about bitcoin is different from what should be expected to be given a trader. They are connected but has different approach to utilize them. Most of the crypto trading I have come across are been offered by exchanges and I can’t see a better place that can give you first hand insight on how trading works and how you can start yours there.

Op, this is one of the best tool that will guide you. I was just about to refer this till I saw it. Most interesting things about this site is that it has a search bar that responds fast. If you find any Bitcoin terminology strange, then you can search it up. You can also checkout for Bitcoinmagazine. I think they offer good knowledge to an extent.

Welcome but first you need to be more specific in your questions, e.g what area do you need advice?

Because from your comment one can not say since you mentioned knowledge about bitcoin a d there after stated that you are a trader.

Do you need advice or book recommendations about bitcoin?

Or you looking for materials on how to increase your trading skills and experience?

Just be specific.

If you are a trader then why not start printing the history of Bitcoin from Wiki it should give some events and exact prices on that time so that you know what happens every block halving or every 4 years.

Here is the link below

Also other books about matering bitcoin can be found here below

For trading, most exchanges have both article and video tutorials. I used Binance for it but other exchanges have the tutorials. Just make use if the search engine to search on the exchange and also if you have just registered, the exchange will ask you to go through some of this articles if you want to.

Trading is very risky. Small amount of money is enough.

Do you want to learn about Trading or about Bitcoin?  Are you entirely Newbie to Bitcoin or which is your level of knowledge?  It would help if you shared the level of knowledge so others can share the right sources for you.

My opinion stays the same all the time.  It is nice to learn theory about Bitcoin, but the most you will learn will in my opinion still be by using Bitcoin.  Download Electurm, create your own Wallet and start from there by finding answers to all questions you have.  It is how I learned mostly and I think it is crucial because you rather make small mistakes now than make a big mistake later on.
