If they copy the Isle of Mann and have a crypto currency and tax haven friendly environment they may benefit to a large degree. The Uk may also be able to have their cake and eat it with both "countries" jumping from one set of rules and tax regime as they see fit.
The UK can circumvent some of the uglier rules of the EC and European central bank using Scotland who do not automatically become part of the Union of megla maniacs in Brussles.
Scotland can compensate/circumvent any disadvantages from not being an EU member by using the UK as a base for certain industries.
Looks to me that Pro Union politicians ( 3 major parties) have to go through the motions of fighting for a no vote to appease the rest of the EU but could they secretly want it to be yes ?
