I do not see that this is needed. Wearing a signature is not a problem instead the real problem is the posting habit that you have stated which is spamming.
OP do you really know what SPAM is all about?
Stay low for now you were still a newbie and yet to become a jr. member or even rank up to member in the near future. There will be a time to get merit/s just wait and be patience even if we are not a good poster OP. One day we will be able to share knowledge and learning basing on the experience we have in this forum and when that time comes we will have greater chance on getting it.

The "badge" already exists, and it's called the signature space--and there are already requirements to be able to have one or to have more signature space, i.e., ranking up.

Don't know about that, but it's got to come close to it at least.  OP registered about 12 days ago and is already suggesting improvements to a system that has been evolving for quite some time.  Makes me wonder how many alt accounts he's got, but that could be just my bitcointalk paranoia kicking in.

This thread is a merit-seeking one, and your grammar is so bad that the OP was excruciating to read.  In addition, the suggestion you made could have been done without the huge Great-Wall-of-China block of text.  My guess is that you equate quantity of words with quality of posts, and that just isn't the case.  With writing as bad as yours is, your best course of action is to be succinct from now on.  Maybe check out one of the local boards as well.

I must say this is an idea that's contains a great opportunity that can go far in stopping spamming in the forum. I think bounty hunters would be on there toes when the noticed they can still be stopped even when they are in the bounty project

When we stop merit seeking replies to a post even without going through and trying to see it from a different perspective  then and alone can we become united against spammers

I don't quite understand what you mean by a badge for those that can wear signature. It's either you can or you can't, and as per the new rules, any rank other than newbie can wear signature (this also includes copper member newbie who can wear signature and post images)

And there are different ways of spamming, it's not a straight line, people can be clever when doing it and you won't be able to detect and same repetitive answers twisted over and again would lead to lead to a spam mega thread.
An idea would be to close a thread automatically when the discussion has gone stale and unproductive as users rarely return to their threads.

And I don't see why signature holders should be highlighted, ANY user spamming the forum is at fault, some are paid to bump threads without needing to wear signatures.

Report posts or comment you think is unhelpful or redundant and moderators would look into it, that's how we can put our hands together and maintain the standard of the forum.

 Please I crave your indulgence permit me to draw your attention once again again to the frequently talk about matter of SPAMMERS and their activities. Undeniably a lot has been said prior to this post about the menace caused by SPAMMER.
 
 They have completely left the Altcoin discussion( I stand to be corrected is a place where other coin except bitcoin is discussed) in a precarious position this has caused some knowledge seeking member to put the section on their AVOID list. And this bad eggs(spammers) are expanding there horizons and like cancer are spreading to other sections of the forum like bitcoin discussion, beginners and help and even meta(which is fast turning into merit discussion) section.  And also just like cancer if not addressed now can lead to an unpleasant situation.

  It's no news that bounty hunters are the chief perpetrators of this crime(spamming). Participating in bounties or airdrops is not against the rule of the forum but it's the way some go about it that is causing the feeling of contempt from other members of the forum.

   May I be permitted to postulate a rough idea
In addition to the update merit and ranking system remaining the same there be something like a badge or symbol giving to members of the forum that has reached the required level of carrying a signature. The badge or symbols would signify that the member is eligible to wear a signature and participate in signature bounties. And when they go about there activities if it's notices by the mods or draw to there attention by other members that an individual is constantly spamming the forum with post or reply just to meet up with there bounty commitment probably after 4 times of spamming  the member would be sent a post deleted message and attached to it a warning to desist from spamming but if the warning is not headed probably after another 4 post the badge or symbols would be removed and the member would be ineligible to continue wear signature no matter the rank or merit and the member would be put on probation and watch if still there is no changes might be banned after cross examination.

 And also the issue of constantly posting the same topic a link to where it has been discussed before would be attached to the delete post message sent to the OP to help assist him/her. This is still a rough idea that can be worked on and improve.  

The condition of the forum is a priority to every member
