Developers should inform or announce such failure before participants expect too much out of it. I haven't heard about Coinjoin bounty but I'm aware of the risks of bounty hunting.
It's not always profitable and we couldn't always make money because not all bounties could be successful.

Nothing is actually new with these projects nowadays. Mostly, lack of activeness and support is the reason why they couldn't reach their target resulting in an uncertain situation which may come to a point that they couldn't pay their bounty hunters. That's why we can't rely all our luck in new Ico's these days.

This is one of the many risks when we participate in a bounty promotional works. Usually the project devteam will just hire somebody here in this forum to manage the bounty details and there are cases where disputes can ignite the bounty manager and the team leaving bounty participants with nothing on their bags. There are also cases where the tokens released are not what they should give as published in the thread. But what can be a bitter experience that working with and promoting a scam? You get nothing and you smear your name in the process. I am not familiar with the Conjoin project (sounds like twins to me) but i am assuming that the bounty is not managed well. Better luck next time I am sure there will be more projects here either in ICO, STO or even IEO.

Bounty is definitely the most fun way to make money just by creating content. But there are also nuances, good earnings can be obtained, but then the bounty tokens themselves have to wait half a year and sometimes more

This is also a fun way in other terms because you will just make a smile on it because you got scammed. Today, it is not advisable to hold tokens or coins in the market for a couple of months or years because it is most likely become a dead coin soon, a good coin wont need a couple of months to recover.

Unfortunately, due to the abundance of scam projects, bounty is not always a good solution for making money. Especially if the project does not have at least working prototypes, then it is impossible to say with full probability whether they can reach the end and implement the project
It is precisely because you do not know whether the ico project is able to bring the matter to the end, I prefer to work with running services. Pay for content and on the platform taklimakan. If you are able to create something interesting, then it will not be difficult to find subscribers and monetize your ideas.
If the finished project offers a bounty company or any other promotion for advertising its community, it looks normal. Since talking about a good product is always more pleasant than about dreams that have not yet been realized as it happens with ico projects.

The market is very saturated with bounty hunters, but the effort spent is not always paid as well as you expected. Since you do not even know what awaits this token then on the exchange.

It seems like it would be better for you to move this thread to Service Discussion board.
Also considering that you've got a hero member acc you should not be surprised about the way bounties are distributed. Devs usually don't really care about details of bounty campaign and outsource those activities.
In your case the best way to clear those things is to get a comment from project's administration, not bounty managers.

Well, the thread is not about technical.
And gmaxwell is moderator there.

My thanks to the moderator to clean this thread.

If no other contributor to the Coinjoin bounty wants to contribute to this thread I will close it next sunday.

The multi-wallet feature of Bitcoin core is neat to have a look into old wallets. Thank you, The Bitcoin Core-developers!

The Coinjoin bounty has a track record of not paying anyways. As an incentive to do work in the field it is a total failure.

On the other hand there are some candidates who may get 100% of the bounty any time now, making it risky to hope for a part of the bounty. Lack of communication, vision, transparency and strategy make a total failure as an incentive to do work in the field.

I didn't expect that the Coinjoin bounty would be so poorly managed when I made my contribution.
I doubt that many contributors did.

I think that it is time for the contributors to say something about this mess.
