Did anyone use leupay (now renamed to leopay) for crypto related transactions? Got money from bitcoin exchanges and withdraw? No more problem?

They closed my account,
then reopened and disconnected SEPA transfer

terrible experience...

I sent 50 EUR from Bitstamp.net to leopay.eu
after 2 days, the transfer returned to Bitstamp.net
I lost 0.90 EUR for withdrawal of SEPA

I think since they moved to operate in countries like Bulgaria and Romania, their Maltese partnership with Satabank ended. Even though the Maltese government and regulatory bodies like MGA are embracing decentralized currencies, their own banking cartel thinks otherwise.

I sent them an email asking if they allow transfers to/from Bitcoin exchanges.

I don't see why they would be selective of any particular IABN account, but this will determine if I continue with the verification.

I feel sad for the OP.
Hope he finally figured it out by now. Smiley

So we should consider transfers from leupay to exchanges work now?
Also, has anyone tried to withdraw from exchanges to leupay?

I made few transactions from my personal Leupay account to Kraken account in this month. I had no issues with the transfers. I was sending around more than 10k each time. I have crosses the monthly limit of 30k euro by now and waiting for next month  Wink.  I did made few transfers to Bitstamp and Rocktrading earlier. Everything went fine.

For how long have you been using LeuPay for money transfers to Exchanges? I've recently opened an account for the same purpose but after finding this post I'm a little affraid of sending anything as big as 10k eur.
I am using them for past 8 months.

Hello,

It's been some time since this was posted, but I have Personal and Business Leupay account, and I would like more information about the issue.
I have done some transactions to/from Kraken in the past, using my personal account, and never had a problem.
But my volumes were never above 5000euros per month.
Now I am considering using my Business account for volumes around 10k.

How much did you try to send? What was the monthly volume?
Also, did you manage to get your money back?
Please let me know what happened. I am now considering closing my account with them.

Thanks!

You used a mobile app LeuPay
to generate one time passwords GateKeeper 1.8 ?
Why ?
I sent them the bank statement signed and stamped as they want. I hope they don't want anything else and give me my money.

Hi, guys!

Sorry for opening this old post. I just want to know if @romantic1 has news about this issue related to LeuPay account.

I don't have any business, I'm just personal. I use my saving to invest in bitcoin.
The full name in my bank acount is match to the full name in leupay account. That's enough. Why do leupay want a bank statement stamped and signed ? I'm very busy.
I have 1000 EUR in leupay

I received the reply from leupay:
"Please send us an official document, such as statement or other, signed and
stamped by a bank, licensed in EU, certifying the opened bank account in order
to proceed with the e-money redemption."
I have read the agreement and I didn't find anything relate to bitcoin.
I don't live in EU, what can I do ? Read the first post if you don't understand.

I made a Leupay account,
- Send ID,
- Send proof utility bill,
- Received a card EUR MasterCard
- Activated GateKeeper - Android Apps with one-time passwords

The account LeuPay is fully activated.
I have my IBAN.

Card LeuPay AVS ? Huh
Work with any billing address?

Still no reply from Leupay. They don't want to relate to bitcoin, it's ok, they just let me transfer my money out and then block my account. Why they want bank account in a bank, licensed in EU ? After I gave them the bank account they want, why they want document certifying the opened bank account ? What else do they want ? I asked them "what document do you want ? " Still no answer. I was very polite to them. Too bad. Stay Leupay away. I know many people here using leupay.

1.Do you agree that your account termination was valid reason ? Just saying, you did comply with their TOS while signing up in the beginning.
2.Maybe read that agreement again and see if at all their excuse exists ?

Please send us a document certifying the opened bank account in order to proceed with the e-money redemption. "
I said "What document do you want ?"
Still no reply from them
Because that line speaks for itself. No further clarification is needed if you look at it. "document certifying the opened bank account ",maybe a stamp letter signed by the bank ? Maybe an email vouching you a customer for the bank ? You need to talk to the bank btw.

I personally see this as your fault as you was the one who didn't the terms of services but there is probably nothing to be worried about, you just need to wait until they reply, you didn't mention the amount involved here but I doubt It's something huge that they would scam you for.

Holy sh*t! They cant handle bitcoin related business??? Huh
Yes, I was very surprise. A lot of money in there. I think they do not want to give it back. They do not have the right to hold my money just because they cant handle bitcoin related business. Bitcoin is not illegal.

You send SEPA to kraken.com, bitstamp.net or therocktrading.com ?

I sent to kraken.com and bitstamp so they block my account. They can block my account if they want but they should let me transfer my money out.
Now they will not allow you to transfer from your account to kraken.com or bitstamp.net you must provide them all details and documents then they will give your refund in bank then you can transfer as your want because its all your fault not their

Leupay is online Sepa account.
They sent me email : "By this e-mail we inform you on the immediate suspension of the LeuPay Service and termination of the Agreement, since the business model of dealing with Bitcoins, does not corresponds to our clients acceptance policy.
The available balance in your LeuPay account, less applicable fee for e-money
redemption and fees for the bank transfer, will be transferred to your
company's bank account in a bank, licensed in EU. Please provide to us your
company bank account in a bank, licensed in EU.
I gave them my bank account in a bank, licences in EU.
But they said " Please send us a document certifying the opened bank account in order to proceed with the e-money redemption. "
I said "What document do you want ?"
