yeah i was on reddit and someone else said it was a scam bc the qr code doesn't work

The QR code does work... whoever bought the domain after it expired just had it redirect to their own site.

Originally the link http://bitcoldhardcash.com/ag was eventually changed to http://coldhardca.sh which no longer works
But the original link now redirects to https://www.ricardo.ch/fr/shop/encheresch/offers/

If the date is 2014 with 0.25 BTC and it is "gold plated", you have a fake New Liberty Bitcoin Specie coin.

The real ones were minted in 2013 and had a denomination of 0.25 BTC and then also in 2014 with a denomination of 0.10 BTC
The QR on the back when scanned would take you to a website that would display the price of an ounce of silver in BTC at the time

The coin is worth about $30 if it is real silver... but if I had to guess, it is probably plated base metal and worth maybe $1

Hey I was referred to this site because I have a gold plated bitcoin with a QR code on it.
It says, "Veritas Vos liberabit"
2014
Quarter Bitcoin
Underneath the QR code there's some latin words "frigus durum argentum"  Embarrassed
I've tried scanning the QR code using my camera but it doesn't take me anywhere. I was given this by my dad after he past away so I'm wondering if it has anything in it? Like is there actually .25 bitcoin in the code? I just have so many questions surrounding this coin but there's nothing on the internet about it.
Any info, links, or advice on what to do would be helpful!!!
